The clock is ticking and the date for the 19th edition of Junior Eurovision is getting day by day closer, with the French broadcaster, France Télévisions, bening in full steam making all the necessary preparations to present us a spectacular show. 

The fnal show is scheduled for 16:00 CET on December 19, 2021 at the concert hall 'La Seine Musicale' and will see a total of 19 countries compete in this year's edition. 

France Televisions held earlier today a press conference in which they revelaed all the details around the Opening Ceremony and the Interval act of  the contest. 

Openining Ceremony

The Opening Ceremony is set to take place in Studio Gabriel in the 8th arrondissement of Paris at 17:00 CET on December 13, 2021. 

Host of the ceremony will be Charlee Moss, who is the daughter of Marie Myriam, the ESC 1977 winner. During the Opening Ceremony, three positions in the running order will be determined. The country that will appear first on stage, the country that will perform last and the position in which the host country will perform. Beside those three positions all the other will be decided by the contest's producers. 

Interval Acts

 Just a few days before Ofenbach were confirmed as the opening acts of the show in La Seine Musicale. The confimred interval acts of  the show are : 

Valentina, the young talented act that won last year's trophy with J'Imagine and brought the contest in France for the first time will be performing a Christmas version of her winning entry. 

Barbara Pravi, the French Eurovision 2021 runner-up and co-writer of the French JESC 2020 entry, will perform her ESC 2021 entry “Voilà”.

In addition, the performance of the common song "Imagine" will be the thrid interval act, the earnings of which will go to UNISEF, ambassadors of which are Valentina and JESC presenter Élodie Gossuin.

French DJ duo, consisting of Dorian Lauduique and César de Rummel, will have the honor to open the 19th Junior Eurovision show as announced by the host broadcaster. 

Who are Ofenbach

The duo met at school at an early age.When they were 13 years old, Lo's father told them that one of the best experiences of his life was being part of a band. This inspired them to form their first musical group in which they performed rock music. They cite some of their influences as Supertramp, The Rolling Stones, and Led Zeppelin.

The name Ofenbach was selected after the duo found a score by French composer Jacques Offenbach at their home. Ofenbach released their single "Be Mine" alongside an official remix package via Warner Music France/Big Beat, which featured remixes from Agrume, Antiyu, and Stone Van Brooken. The song peaked at number one in Russia and Poland.

Their gold-certified song "Be Mine" charted on the Billboard Dance/Mix Show Airplay chart at 35th. After releasing songs like "Around the Fire" and "You Don't Know Me", they gained support from artists such as Robin Schulz and Tiësto. They are also known for remixing songs from Bob Sinclar, Hyphen Hyphen, and James Bay.

The 19th edition of Junior Eurovision is set to takel place in Paris on December 19, 2021 at the iconinc concert hall 'La Seine Musicale' and will see a total of 19 countries compete for the trophy. 

With the 19th edition of Junior Eurovision just two months away, the French broadcaster that will be hosting the next competition has revealed the stage design of this year's contest and the word that describes it best is : magnifique !!

The stage we will see in the concert hall of La Seine Musicale on December 19,2021 showcases the city it is located in, Paris!! A spacious stage for the performers in the middle with two extended bridges on both sides, give us a strong picture of Paris and its repsective bridges along the Seine river in Paris.

Of course the lighting is another significant element of the stage and how can it not be when we are talking about the 'City of Lights'. 

With the next Junior Eurovision taking place in such an iconic beautiful venue like the La Seine Musicale  on the  Seine river combined with such an impressive stage design, we have no doubt that the 19th edition of the contest will be a really memorable one in the contest's history. 

The French organisers along with EBU have taken this case warmly and are aiming to welcome the delegations from around Europe and offer a spectacular show to the audience.

The highest average viewing share since the 2011 edition, was achieved by the Junior Eurovision Song Contest in Paris, as a total of 33 million viewers across 14 markets boosted the average share to 15,6%. 

In addition another 4.5 million viewers tuned in to the the contest's official Youtube Channel following up all kind of content around the competition with the Grand final live show included. 

Among the countries Poland remained in the lead for a third consecutive year recording a total of 2.8 million viewers who tuned in to see their hopeful Sara James finish second. Also the host country, France, hit the second largest audience with an increase of 400.000 spectators as  1.6 million tuned in to France 2. The winning country of Armenia hit a viewing share of 45% which saw Malena winning the JESC trophy, while in Iceland who didn't compete in the contest but was aired in the country saw the remarkable audience share of 96%.

Out of 14 markets 11 showed a larger share in audience that usually they accomplish normally in that slot. 

The youngers in the frontline

Of course it's not a surprise that the children's contest saw the younger ages were in the lead regarding the viewing figures. The average viewing share among children aged 4 to 14 reached a 12%, marking a 59% increase from the usual share of 7,9% for the broadcasters among those ages. 

The same time an 11.2% viewing share among 15 – 24-year-olds was more than twice up that the usually average share of 5% for broadcasters in this group of ages.

Social media engagement hits the roof

Since we are talking about the younger generations the social media platforms received a massive wave of interaction with the contest's content.  8.3 million video views on TikTok and 5.7 million video views and 23 million impressions on Instagram clearly reflect the level of engagement on the contest's most popular platforms. 

Further on all regular social media accounts saw a remarkable increase of engagement with Facebook in the lead with an increase of 728%, follower by the increase on Instagram thar reached  166% while on Twitter engagement was up 64% with posts on the channel being seen 4.3 million times throughout the week of the event

Armenia and the winning broadcaster of 2021,  APMTV, will host the 20th anniversary edition of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest, with the date, host city and venue to be revealed in the following months. Armenia won this year's contest with Malena Fox performing "Qami Qami" which received a total of 224 points just six more points than Poland's Sara James who came second with 218 points.

A massive total of 4.3 million votes from 199 countries were cast in the online voting for the 19th edition of Junior Eurovision 2021. The winning act, Armenia's Malena Fox received almost the 10% of the total online votes.

Conbined with the jury votes that saw France in first place receiving 120 points ,  Poland second with 116 points and  Armenia third with 115 points, the overall score declared , Armenia's Malena Fox as the big winner of Junior Eurovision 2021 with her song 'Qami Qami'.

Malena's victory marks the second trophy for Armenia who had won first time in Junior Eurovision 2010 with Vladimir Arzumanyan and his song "Mama"

A few words for Malena

Maléna Fox is a 14-year-old singer from Armenia. Since early 2020, she has teamed up with the small record label TKN based in the capital city of Yerevan. 

TKN was founded by record producer tokionine who was behind the compisition and co-wrote her cancelled Junior Eurovision 2020 entry, "Why".  He previously produced “Walking Out”, Armenia’s Eurovision 2019 entry performed by Srbuk.

Maléna has also released on her Youtube channel two cover videos. One is of “Broken Clocks”, originally performed by American singer SZA. The other reelase is a stripped-back mashup of a number of hit R’n’B songs, including Drake’s “Hotline Bling” and The Weeknd’s “Heartless”.Taking into account her work so far she seems to favour R’n’B songs as an artist. 

Last year she was set to represent Armenia at Junior Eurovision 2021 with the song 'Why" but due to the conflict in Nagorno- Karabakh (Artach) Armenia was forced to withdraw from the contest. 

This year she came back with her song 'Qami Qami" and brought to Armenia their second victory in the competition:

After weeks of preparations and four days of rehearsals here at the La Seine Musicale concert hall in Paris, the final live show took place this afternoon   declaring  as winner of the 19th edition of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest .Armenia's Malena Fox and her song 'Qami Qami'. 

The show took place with an audience present but in accrodance with strict sanitory and safety protocols.

Opening of the Show

The show opened with the flag parade and the presentation of this year's 19 competing countries and acts under the music of the Dj duo Ofenbach.

Once that was complete the three host of the show came forward with actor and TV presenter, Olivier Minne, popular persona and politician Élodie Gossuin and the French JESC 2019 act, Carla taking their spots on the stage. 

THE COMPETING COUNTRIES

Once the comepting part was over the lines opened again for voting juat for 15 minutes while the show saw last year's winner, sweet Valentina perform a Christmas version of her winning entry "J'Imagine" .

In addition all of the 19 competing acts took to the stage for one more time to sing all toether this year's common song 'Imagine". 

Just before the results were announced the sensational Barbara Pravi gave a captivating performance of a special version of "Voila" her Eurovision 2021 song that came 2nd in Rotterdam. 

THE RESULTS

The winner was determined by a combination of jury voting and an online voting. The jury vote was determined one day before during the jury show while the online voting that had started on Friday evening and closed just before the live show, reopened for 15 minutes after all acts had completed their performances. Each voting had a 50% share on the final outcome.

The juries’ votes declared winner the country of France receiving 120 points while second came Poland with 116 points and third Armenia with 115 points. This how the scoreboard was after the 19 national juries' votes were in:

Once the jury voting was revealed the hosts went on with the points from the online voting with the overall scoreboard declaring winner Malena Fox from Armenia!

The Voting Process

Last evening, the 19 competing acts will took the stage and performed their entries before tha national juries that will determine 50% of the overall score. The rest 50% will be determined by online public voting that has already opened since Friday evening at 20:00 CET.  The online voting will stay open until one mine before the live show hits the screen at 15:59 CET and will reopen again during the live show once all 19 performance have been completed for 15 minutes.

Portugal (Simão Oliveira – “O Rapaz)

First up today is Portugal’s Simão Oliveira. The Portuguese goes through his second run of rehearsals with no significant changes. He wears his orange- mustard colored blazer, and his performance is really elegant. On the background images form Portugal are projected. Really nice and stylish performance by Portugal! Well done!

Ireland (Maiú Levi Lawlor – “Saor”)

Next up for his second rehearsal is Maiú Levi Lawlor for Ireland. While the staging begins with grey and neutral colors during the show it's dominated by a outburst of colours matching Maiú's energetic performance. This little one delivers a powerful performance just by himself on stage without any need of dancers accompanying him or backdrop effects.   

Good work from Maiú who definetly is putting his mark in this year's contest. 

Malta (Ike & Kaya – “My Home”)

The Maltese duo Ike and Kaya take the stage for their second rehearsal. They deliver in harmony and showcase that it works for them together on stage. Without any dress changes the direct way they perform their songs along with the continuous images in motion behind from cityscape to the forest from the dipslay of hearts to unicorns create all together a really vivid staging and presentation of the song. 

A very strong atistic duo that certainly keeps the audience's attention all the way.  

Netherlands (Ayana – “Mata Sugu Aō Ne”)

 Get ready to travel to the Far East as Ayana is taking us to her Japanese sceney. The Japanese dresses along with te cherry blossom and the traditional Japanese fan dancing adds up to it. Ayana's dress combines red and silver while here dancer's shadow silhouettes are projected on a papar door at the back. 

A really different and interesting proposal from the Netherlands this year with the artistic integration of Ayana's Japanese heritage in the staging making it stand out!

Germany (Pauline – “Imagine Us”)

Following a short lunch break Pauline from Germany is next for her second rehearsal. Pauline delivers once again a vivid and energetic performance of 'Imagine Us'. The colourful graphics on the backdrop featuring the globe and a rainbow contribute in making her performance even more spectacular. The cartoon protestors behind give a boost to her inspiring messages for peace and solidarity creating an illusion of a massive support of her strong messages.

Italy (Elisabetta Lizza – “Specchio”)

Elisabetta Lizza is back up for her second rehearsal which initially faces some technical issues. But once they were handled Elisabetta brings on stage  Måneskin’s vibes and hyper energy of  “Specchio”. One could say that her staging has common elements with the ESC 2021 winners staging with the intensed white lighting dominating the stage. Well they say you never change a good recipe and Elisabetta is doing a good job following up her idols of inspiration. 

Very strong performance that rocks the rooftop off! Can the same recipe work for Italy in Junior Eurovision and double the trophies? 

Georgia (Niko Kajaia – “Let’s Count The Smiles”)

 Niko Kajaia  from Georgia is up next for his second run of rehearsals . His performance is uplifting and refreshing. Full in motion staging , confident vocally Niko brings with his dancers a joyful and happy presentation of his song, reinforced by the bright colors featuring on the background.  

It's a childrens' contest and Niko is there to remind us of that bringing along his childhood innocense and sensitivity through a energetic fun performance. 

Spain (Levi Díaz – “Reír”)

Levi Díaz is ready  for his second rehearsal appearing in the same blue jeans and white leather jacket we saw  in his first rehearsal.  Another powerful performance full of energy and motion urging the audience to join this revolutionary path of joy and smiles. Levi is just putting it out there inviting us to join him all the way and laugh with him! 

Nicely delivered Spain for one more time since its return to the competition brings an act that fill the stage charismatically. 

Poland (Poland: Sara James – “Somebody”)

 Day 3 of rehearsals conclude with the Polish act, Sara James with one more amazing performance of “Somebody”. This girl has star quality and knows how to show it on stage along with all the technical set up supporting it. A pink tree at the backgorund, flying flowers on the screen with a backdrop switching from blue to pink and to an orange color at the end, combnined with fireworks elevate the whole performance to a higher level. 

Will Poland triple their trophies at the contest with Sara James? Either ways will be hearing more form this talented girl in the future!

Azerbaijan

Day 4 of rehearsals kick off with the strongs vocals of Azerbaijan's Sona Azizova. Once again the Azeri hopeful takes the stage and showcase her vocal skills delivering her entry 'One of those days' amazingly. The staging is minimal focusing on Sona and her intepretation. The scenery starts in white and blue color and swtiches to a  warm golden colour as she hits those high notes in her song. 

Bulgaria

Deni &Marti are back for their second rehearsal which doesn't show any major changes from the first one. The performances begns with them in a tent and they move out and forward to the stage as the song progresses. The two have them exist as an artistic duo for quite a long time now and that shows on the stage as the chemistry and the harmony between them is there and ease things to deliver an impressive vocally performance. 

Albania

Anna Gjebrea from Albania takes the stage next and gives us a joyful school lesson as how talented kids like her can achieve anything. Awsome vocals by Anna with an impressive choreography accompanying her performance. Bright lights throughtout the song spotlight Anna with a pack of colors erupting at the last chorus. If it takes great vocals and a matched impressive set up to achieve a good result Anna is fulfilling that combination.

Ukraine 

Olena Usenko is all about the voice! Alone on stage she belts out impressive those high notes. The background features an orange colour with a ring of fireworks exploding around and behind her with orange and red wings following. While after the first chorus the stage goes into dark color the bright orange and red lighting returns as Olena escalates to higher in her notes. The floor to the end of the song displays an effect of troubled waters. 

Selective effects and powerful vocals take Olena's performance to another level! 

North Macedonia

 Dajte Muzika are next up after the short lunch break. The group from North Macedonia what to pass the message of urgency for our planet. Elements of nature, fire, water the earth itself feature the backdrop in a way similar to the  music vide. The choreography is dynamic and strict the same time with the acts' body language directing to the ultimate message of chaging behavior and protecting the planet!

Kazakhstan

 The duo from Kazakhstan, Beknur and Alinur, take us to an underwater experience with huge silver dolphins balloons flying above them and around the stage. The overall layout of the stage aims to drive tou in a fairy world in accordance with the song's titles. Beautiful vocals from both of them with Alinur blowing away the audience with some impressive high notes towards the end. 

Armenia

Armenia’s Maléna is up next on stage showcasing once again her talent. Malena is singing 'Qami Qami' accompanied by her dancers who are dancing around her. Nice soft clear vocals that make the audience connect with the song but with the visuals of the staging also. One of the biggest applauses in the Press Center today. 

Good Work Team Armenia!

Serbia

Team Serbia is back on stage with Jovana and Dunja going through their second rehearsal performance which takes us to the their fairytale world. The backdrop is split in two parts. A frame of a mirror stands in the middle of the stage through which the two acts interact copying each other's moves. After spinning the mirror they enter through it a new world! Really impressive staging with the two act delivering in harmony and a child's sensitivity their song! 

Russia

Tanya appears for her second rehearsal which this time is done with live vocals. A very joyful staging with lots of action going on, ridebiking, dancing in the park and a circus hoop on the way to her final chorus of 'Mon Ami'.Tanya and her dancers are enjoying every minute of it and let it show throughout the song, taking with them the audience. 

France

 Enzo is back on stage to perform once more his uplifiting joyful 'Tic Tac". The whole staging fill up the scene with Enzo and his dancers delivering the whole song as if have taken one breath. Clockwork on the background, a golden staircase that won't be a surprise if it lead Enzo and France to a second big victory. 

Amazing performance vocally full of energy that just let you take the eyes off it!

After weeks of preparations and four days of rehearsal here at the La Seine Musicale concert hall in Paris, only one day is left for the live show of Junior Eurovision 2021 to hit the screen. 

However, one day before the live event the Jury show is set to take place this afternoon during which the 19 competing acts will take the stage and perform their entries before tha national juries that will determine 50% of the overall score. The rest 50% will be determined by online public voting that has already opened since Friday evening at 20:00 CET.  

According to initial plans the Jury show would have had an audience attending but due to the latest circumstances with the rise of  covid-19 cases across Europe and the new variant Omikron the organisers decided to scale down the attendance of an audience in the jury show and leave an audience only for Sunday's Live show. 

This year a total of 19 competing countries are in the run for the trophy which will appear in the jury show in the same running order as the live show:

Participants' Press conference

Earlier the two press conference took place: The first one was for the 19 participants with the press having a chance to meet and submit their question to the charismatic acts. You can follow the whole press conference below: 

In addtion the second press conference was for the three Junior Eurovision hosts and the guest acts of this year's competition. Thus, the press got to talk and ask the three hosts Olivier Minne, Élodie Gossuin and Carla along with the guests, reigning champ Valentina, DJ duo Ofenbach and the sensational Barbara Pravi. With all the competing countries having completed their two runs of rehearsals and the contest going into its final two days the online voting that will determine 50% of the result of the 19th edition of Junior Eurovision has opened today at 20:00 CET. The lines will remain open until one minute before the live show hits the screen at 16:00 CET this Sunday, December 19, to reopen again during the show for 15 minutes.

Votes will be able to select up to three countries, which marks a slight change to the voting as in previous years the number reach up to five countries for each voter. All people regardless of their location or if their country is taking part in the contest can cast their votes.

Junior Eurovision 2021 rehearsals in Paris progress to Day 2 with the rest 10 out of the 19 competing acts taking the stage to rehearse their entries for the first time on the stage of La Seine Musicale, the concert hall that will host this year's Junior Eurovision Song Contest. Namely Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Albania, Ukraine, North Macedonia, Kazakhstan, Armenia, Serbia, Russia and France will be making their first rehearsals.

The rehearsals got back on track with the the two hopefuls from Kakakhstan Alinur Khamzin and Beknur Zhanibekuly who will be performing 10th in Sunday's Live show. The Kazakh duo will be singing “Ertegı älemı" (Fairy World).

Alinur and Beknur take the stage wearing both silver and purple clored outfits. Their performance unfolds in an underwater scenery with a big silver dolphin going around them. They deliver their song standing side to side impressing with their powerful vocals. 

Alinur Khamzin was born in the city of Oral, Kazakhstan. Besides singing, Alinur plays the piano, robotics and chess. He has participated in several competitions among which, The Voice Kids 2018, Slavianski Bazaar 2021 and the Baqytty Bala (“Happy Child”) 2021 competition.

Beknur Zhanibekuly was born in Astana (now named Nur-Sultan), Kazakhstan, but is living now in Strasbourg, France. Despite being born with phocomelia, the fact hasn't discouraged him from followings his passion for music and singing. 

The two fo them competed in the Kazakh national final finishing both in first place in a tie of 30,5% of the vote. Then the jury along with the composers involved decided to send both of them to Paris.

Junior Eurovision 2021 rehearsals in Paris progress to Day 2 with the rest 10 out of the 19 competing acts taking the stage to rehearse their entries for the first time on the stage of La Seine Musicale, the concert hall that will host this year's Junior Eurovision Song Contest. Namely Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Albania, Ukraine, North Macedonia, Kazakhstan, Armenia, Serbia, Russia and France will be making their first rehearsals.

The rehearsals move on to the delegate from Armenia, Malena Fox who will be performing 9th in Sunday's Live show. Malena will be singing 'Qami Qami'. 

The young talented Armenian act takes to the stage dressed in a silver shiny disco ball style jackets combined with high sliver spacy boots, She is accompanied by four dancers on stage, two females and two males, dressed in pink and blue shiny silver outfits that match her own clothes.

Team Armenia impresses with an oustanding choreography and strong vocals .

A few words for Malena

Maléna Fox is a 14-year-old singer from Armenia. Since early 2020, she has teamed up with the small record label TKN based in the capital city of Yerevan. 

TKN was founded by record producer tokionine who was behind the compisition and co-wrote her cancelled Junior Eurovision 2020 entry, "Why".  He previously produced “Walking Out”, Armenia’s Eurovision 2019 entry performed by Srbuk.

Maléna has also released on her Youtube channel two cover videos. One is of “Broken Clocks”, originally performed by American singer SZA. The other reelase is a stripped-back mashup of a number of hit R’n’B songs, including Drake’s “Hotline Bling” and The Weeknd’s “Heartless”.

Taking into account her work so far she seems to favour R’n’B songs as an artist.

Junior Eurovision 2021 rehearsals in Paris progressed to Day 2 with the rest 10 out of the 19 competing acts taking the stage to rehearse their entries for the first time in La Seine Musicale, the concert hall that will host this year's Junior Eurovision Song Contest. Namely Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Albania, Ukraine, North Macedonia, Kazakhstan, Armenia, Serbia, Russia and France were the countries that had their first rehearsals.

Last but not least to rehease for the first time today was the host nation's representative, Enzo. The French delegate will be performing 'Tic Tac' in Sunday's live show appearing 13th on the stage. 

Enzo takes the stage dressed all in white clothes with a sparkling dark gold blaser above them. A spectacular show unfolds on stage featuring a big pocketwatch on the backdrop and a huge golden staircase that leads Enzo and his dancers to a higher level.  The French organisers have done a marvellous job for their representative!

A few words for Enzo

Enzo Hilaire, a big football and Mbappé fan, has been singing since he was little. A Year 7 student at Discovery College, Enzo started singing when he was just two-years-old and hasn’t stopped since. 

Enzo was born in France to Francois, a pilot, and Moroccan-French mum Fatima, but landed in Macau at six months, living there until the family relocated to Cheung Sha when he was seven.

Though he got distracted by football at age six (his second career choice), a few years back, he discovered rap thanks to his brother who made him listen to Eminem and other rappers. And as the young boy wants to be like his brother, he also begins to sing and rap. For him, rap is “crazy” because he can jump anywhere, let go. 

The casting team of The Voice Kids France spotted him on YouTube and invited him to a Skype audition, where he won his ticket to ‘the blinds’ in Paris. In his blind audition he impressed Soprano who turned round with Enzo joining her team and achieving to make it to the finals. Enzo made it all the way to 2020 The Voice Kids finals on October 10.

It's Russia's hopeful, Tanya Mezhentseva turn to rehearse for the first time. Tanya will be appearing 7th in Sunday's Live show performing the song 'Mon Ami'. 

This must be the spectacular show of the day, with Tanya however using playback vocals for medical reasons, as explained. The staging fetures bicycles, fireworks and a circus hoop that we've already seen in the music video and which lifts the Russian delegate up over her four dancers. Besides the absence of vocals all the rest adds up to a remarkable arrangement. 

A few words for Tanya Mezhentseva

Tatyana (Tanya) Mezhentseva was born on December 9th, 2009 in Moscow. She has been singing since the age of 4 and her music skills go beyond singing as she also knows to plays piano and flute. Also she dances, and does aerial gymnastics.

Tanya is returning on the Junior Eurovision stage for a second time after her participation in Gliwice-Silesia at JESC 2019, as member of the duo with  Denberel Oorzhak performing the song A Time For Us , which finished in the 13th place with 72 points.

Junior Eurovision 2021 rehearsals in Paris progress to Day 2 with the rest 10 out of the 19 competing acts taking the stage to rehearse their entries for the first time on the stage of La Seine Musicale, the concert hall that will host this year's Junior Eurovision Song Contest. Namely Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Albania, Ukraine, North Macedonia, Kazakhstan, Armenia, Serbia, Russia and France will be making their first rehearsals.

The rehearsals move on with the delegates from Serbia, Jovana and Dunja who will be appearing 17th on stage in Sunday's upcoming live show. The two fo them will be performing the song “Oči Deteta (Children’s Eyes)”.

The Serbian hopefuls appear on stage wearing frilly outfits,  two dresses with the characteristic tulle. Οne is pink and looks like a dress the other is blue and is like cropped wide pants pants. All of that stylish outfit combined with a black beret on top. 

The harmony between them is there and they deliver wonderfully their song! 

A few words for Jovana Radonić and Dunja Živković

Jovana Radonić  was born on January 19, 2011. years in Novi Sad. Even as a very young child, she showed an affinity and talent for music and movement. She had her first public appearance at the age of four, and the following year she participated in a television music competition in which she won second place.

Since then, she has been collaborating with piano and singing teacher Ana Frlin, who continues to lead Jovana through elementary music school, where she is currently a third-grade piano student, and as a music school student she won a special award at the Isidor Bajić festival in solfeggio. Since 2020, he has been studying singing with Professor Petra Leona Matiša as part of "La La Studio".

Dunja Zivkovic was born on July 22, 2010. years in Novi Sad. From an early age, she showed interest and love for music, so from the age of three she attended the music workshop "Do Re Mi" in Novi Sad, where she was immediately noticed, performing as a soloist, but also with the band of the same name.

In April 2019, at the competition of schools in the region, Dunja won the first place in her category. She is a third grade student at the elementary music school "Isidor Bajić", piano department, in the class of prof. Dunja Crnjanski and the fifth grade of the elementary school "First Vojvodina Brigade" in Novi Sad, and also attends the singing school "La La Studio" in Novi Sad in the class of professor Petra Leona Matisa.

The rehearsal go on with the group Dajte Musika on stage for their first rehearsal of "Green Forces". Dajte Musika will be performing 18th in Sunday's Live show. 

The member of Dajte Musika take the stage wearing casual clothes. While the two boys, Miha and Filip are performing with handheld microphones the two girls, Kristina and Anastasija, are using headsets. On the background LED screens display images of the environment similar to those that we see in the music video of the song, outlining the negative consequences human behaviour has cause to it. 

A powerful performance by Dajte Musika that conveys the message of environmental consciousness and hope for a better future for planet earth.

A few words for Dajte Muzika

Dajte Muzika is one of the most popular TV programms for children in North Macedonia, the main protagonists of which are a group of very talented actors and singers who in a short time became idols for the younger generation, having already released more than 80 songs and two albums within the framework of the show. This marks the first group that will be representing the country in its Junior Eurovision history and this year's first competing group.

The group was internally selected by the country's natioanal broadcaster and consists of two boys and two girls. Namely Kristina,  Ansatasija, Miha and Filip are the acts to deliver "Green Forces" on the JESC 2021 stage.

Next up on stage is Olena Usenko from Ukraine. Olena will be performing 12th in Sunday's Live show and will be singing the song 'Vazhil'. 

Olena brings the house down with her amazing vocals!! Wearing dark orange colored trousers with a short black jacket on top she delivers her song alone on stage showcasing her vocal skills. Augmented elements on the stage floor along with the light effect on the backdrop make her performance even more impressive. 

A few words Olena Usenko

Olena has already a wide experience of big stages with wide audiences. Along with her performances on several stages she often upload music videos showcasing her vocal skills in her personal Youtube Channel. 

She reached the Junior Eurovision stage in Paris after winning the Ukrainian national final in which she achieved to top both voting receiving the most points in the public and jury voting.

Third to take the stage today is Anna Gjebrea from Albania who will be performing 11th in Sunday's Live show. Anna will be singing the song 'Stand by you'. 

Anna is travels us all back in time in the years of school! The Albanian hopeful delivers her entry accompanied by four dancers and all fo them are dressed in school uniforms with a the Albanian double head eagle used as a tie.. Desks props and boxes make up a school scenery. Anna is using the same scene as in her official music video of her entry which is filmed in a school class. 

Nice performance that brings back that nostalgia of the innoncent schoold days of the past event to the older ones! 

A few words for Anna Gjebrea

Anna Gjebrea is a twelve-year-old singer from Tirana, Albania. Her father is Ardit Gjebrea who is the Producer of Kënga Magjike, as well as the host of E Diela Shqiptare. She reached the Junior Eurovision stage after winning the Albanian selection.

Junior Eurovision 2021 rehearsals in Paris progress to Day 2 with the rest  10 out of the 19 competing acts  taking the stage to rehearse their entries for the first time on the stage of La Seine Musicale, the concert hall that will host this year's Junior Eurovision Song Contest. Namely Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Albania, Ukraine, North Macedonia, Kazakhstan, Armenia, Serbia, Russia and France will be making their first rehearsals. 

Second to take the stage today is the duet Denislava & Martin from Bulgaria, who will be performing 6th in Sunday's Live Show. Denislava and Martin will be singing 'Voice of love'.

Denislava and Martin showcase on stage what the song titles is all about: Voice of love! They begin to sing in a triangular shaped tent, while their shadow is projected on the front side of the tent. Then they come out of it, both dressed in white and deliver the rest of the song with a backdrop full of warm sparkling lights dropping. 

The duet delivers the song bringing the warmness and sensitivity the song title indicates. Good job for team Bulgaria!

A few words for Denislava and Martin

The two of them have been performing and working together as an artistic duo for the last four years. They have both graduated from one of the best musical schools in the country, Sarandev Studio in Dobrich. Having started singing from the age of 5 they have taken part in several music festivals and therefore have already experienced big stages and audiences. 

Denislava is 12 years old and love animals for which she spends part of her free time besides her friends. Marti is 13 years old, also loves animals but as he has stated enjoys even more reading books.
