Lou Deleuze won the 23rd edition of Junuor Eurovision singing “Ce Monde” and brought the trophy home for a fourth time in the contest's history making France along with Gerogia the nation with the most victories having won back in 2020,  2022, 2023 and 2015.

After weeks of preparations and days of rehearsals here at the Gymnastic Hall of Olympic City in Tbilisi, Georgia, the final show of  the 23rd Junior Eurovision took place this afternnoon in order to determine the successor of Andria Putkaradze . 

The hosts

The show was hosted by Davit Aladashvili and Liza Tsiklauri. Aladashvili is a musical programme presenter at GPB and a regular host of the children's talent show Ranina, which has served as Georgia's artist selection for the contest since 2018, while Tsiklauri is a news anchor and journalist who previously hosted the EuroBasket 2022 opening ceremony in Tbilisi.

Opening Act and Competing Countries

After the Opening act and the traditional flag parade it was time for the young delegates to take the stage and showcase their talent. 

A total of 18 countries participated in this year's edition with Azerbaijan, Croatia, and Montenegro returned after three, ten and nine-year absences respectively. Meanwhile, Estonia and Germany opted not to participate after doing so the previous year.

The results

The outcome of the contest was determiend by two parts of voting. 50% of the results was determined via the Online Voting, which was conducted in two phases (opened one day before up to the live show and reopened for 15 min during the show). The rest  50% by the participating countries’ national juries. The national jury of each country consisted of three music industry professionals and two minors aged 10 to 15.

Online and Overall results

Once the online voting was added in the overall outcome declared France big winner of this year's contest with Lou Deleuze followed by Ukraine's Sofia Nersesian. Here is how the final scoreboard turned out: 

Lou's winning song Ce Monde was co-written by French rising artist , Linh (along with John Claes and Jonathan Thyssens), who had a hit with Je Pense à Vous, a soulful song with a piano accompaniment. Lou’s Junior Eurovision winner is just as packed with emotion (and piano!), and it was composed especially for the 11 year  old winner!
