-
The Sammarinese national broadcaster, SMRTV, has confirmed its Eurovision 2022 participation revealing that "Una voce per San Marino" will be the project to determine the next Eurovision representative.
San Marino is the fourth country to confirm its Eurovision 2022 participation after Israel, Germany and Switzerland. The micro state's national broadcaster went a step further revealing that the next hopeful will be selected via the project "Una voce per San Marino" ( One Voice for San Marino).
Although the details of the selection format are still unknown, the first impression is that San Marino will be switching to some kind of national selection show leaving behind the internal selection as an option. The country has held a national selection in the past only in 2018 with the show 1in360, through which the act and entry were determined in a national final that took place in Bratislava, Slovakia.
For the upcoming Eurovision Song Contest, the Sammarinese broadcaster was one of the first to confirm that their Eurovision 2020 hopeful will be back in 2021, inviting Senhit for Rotterdam. Senhit will be opening the second semi final show on May 20, 2021 performing "Adrenalina" featuring Flo Rida on Rotterdam Ahoy's stage.
The producers behind Senhit's enty are Thomas Stengaard, Joy Deb, Linnea Deb, Jimmy Thörnfeldt, Kenny Silverdique, Suzi Pancenkov, Malou Linn Eloise Ruotsalainen, Chanel Tukia, and Senhit herself.

Senhit was internally selected to represent San Marino at Eurovision 2020 with entry ‘Freaky’ which was selected via an online song selection process. Unfortunately the contest was cancelled and Senhit didn't have a chance to complete her Eurovision journey, but will have the opportunity to do so this year with "Adrenalina".
