Ukraine: Kalush Orchestra will sing live at Eurovision in Turin

    The Ukrainian broadcaster, Suspilne, has announced that the Ukrainian has allowed the nation's representatives to exit the country in order to attend Eurovision 2022 in Turin and perform in their semi final the song 'Stefania'

    The band came together for the first time since the Russian invasion in Ukraine, in the city of Lviv and has kicked off their preparations for their participation in Turin. During a performance in the city of Lviv they stated: 

    "Until recently, Ukraine’s participation in Eurovision was in question, but now we can definitely announce that Kalush Orchestra is going to Turin and will perform live at Eurovision."

    Up to Eurovision the Ukrainian acts will be giving a number of promotional concerts in several locations and taking fundraising action in order to contribute in the healing and reconstruction of cities been affected by the war. 

    Also, previosuly the Ukrainian participation has been exempted from the need to record a on-tape live performance, the back up video in case the delegation isn't not able for any reason to attend live the event.
