Romania: Theodor Andrei releases the official music video of his ESC 2023 entry

  • Romania's Eurovision 2023 hopeful, Theodor Andrei, has released the official music video of his song for Eurovision 2023 'D.G.T (Off & On)'. 

    Back in February Theodor won the Romanian national final Selecția Națională 2023 and will be repsenting Romania with his song 'D.G.T (Off & On)' at Eurovision 2023 this May in Liverpool. 

    The Romania representative has released the music video of his song which has been directed and financed by himself.

    The song that Theodor Andrei will perform in Liverpool it has the tittle “D.G.T. (Off and On)”. It was written by Mikail Jahed, Luca de Mezzo, Luca Udățeanu and Theodor himself. “D.G.T.” is a play on words with the Romanian word “degete” meaning “fingers”.

    Theodor will be performing 'D.G.T (Off & On)' in the 3rd place of the second semi-final on May 11, 2023. 

     

    A few words for Theodor

    Theodor Andrei (born 9 April 2004) is a Romanian singer. Theodor Andrei made himself known by participating in the 2017 talent show Vocea Romaniei Junior, the Romanian version of The Voice Kids, where he reached the semi-finals. In 2020 he took part in the local version of X Factor, where he stopped at bootcamps. Her debut album, Fragil, was released in 2022.

    In December 2022, Theodor Andrei was confirmed among the 12 participants in Selecția Națională 2023. t.D.G.T. (Off and On), his song for the competition, had already been released as a track on his album in collaboration with Luca Udățeanu.
