    San Marino in Eurovision

San Marino made its first appearcance in the Eurovision Song Contest in 2008 with Miodio and  has scored no victory yet. The landlocked country has participated in Europe’s  televised music event 9 times and has only made it to the Grand Final twice, in 2014 when Valentina Monetta placed 24th in the Grand Final and this year with Serhat who achieve the best placing finishing 19th in the Grand final

Valentina has flow the Sammarinese flag at the Eurovision Song Contest four times ( 2012, 2013, 2014, 2017). In 2019  Serhat flew the flag for San Marino in Tel Aviv with his entry Say Na na na,  achieving to qualify to the Grand final where he finished 19th.

Senhit was internally selected to represent San Marino at Eurovision 2020 with entry ‘Freaky’ which was selected via an online song selection process. Unfortunately the contest was cancelled and Senhit didn't have a chance to complete her Eurovision journey,SMRTV invited Senhit back for Eurovision 2021 in Rotterdam where she performed her entry 'Adrenalina' alongside with Flo Rida and after qualifying to the final she finished 22th with a total of 50 points in the overall score.

In 2022 national final winner, Achille Lauro, represented the country with the song 'Stripper' which didn't make it to the Grand final finishing 14th in the 2nd semi-final show.
