Serbia: 'Pesma za Evroviziju 23' First Semi-final Results

• The Serbian national selection for Eurovision 2023 kicked off last evening with the first semi final show of 'Pesma za Evroviziju ’23' determining the first set of eight qualifiers.

  A total of 32 acts are taking part in this year's national selection in Serbia, which consists of two semi finals on March 1 & 2 and a grand final show on March 4. 

  The 1st semi-final show took place in RTS studios in Košutnjak, Belgrade. Milan Marić and Dragana Kosjerina were the hsots of the show while Kristina Radenković and Stefan Popović were located backstage giving all the feedback from the contestants. 

  The first set of 16 contestants competed in last evening's first semi final round with 8 of them qualifiying to the Grand final show. The acts that we will see taking the stage tonight are: 

  1. Mattia Zanatta & Angela Kassiani – “Novi svet” (New world)
  2. Adem Mehmedović – “Osmeh” (Smile)
  3. Nađa – “Moj prvi ožiljak na duši” (The first scar on my soul)
  4. Tijana Dapčević – “Mamim” (Mum)
  5. Princ – “Cvet sa Istoka” (Flower from the East)
  6. Filip Baloš – “Novi plan drugi san” (A new plan, another dream)
  7. Filip Žmaher – “Čujemo se sutra” (Talk to you tomorrow)
  8. Luke Black – “Samo mi se spava” (I’m just sleepy)
  9. Angellina – “Lanac” (Chain)
  10. Emphaty Soul Project – “Indigo”
  11. Stefan Shy – “Od jastuka do jastuka” (From pillow to pillow)
  12. Hercenšlus – “Vremenska zona” (Time zone)
  13. Savo Perović – “Presidente” (President)
  14. Igor Stanojević – “Iza duge” (Over the rainbow)
  15. Boris Subotić – “Nedostupan” (Unavailable)
  16. CHEGI & Braća bluz bend – “Svadba ili kavga” (A wedding or a fight)

  The results

  The results were determined by jury and public voting with a 50% share each. The eight qualifiers that advanced to the finals are:

  3. CHEGI & Braća Bluz Bend – “Svadba ili kavga”
  4. Boris Subotić – “Nedostupan”
  5. Luke Black – “Samo mi se spava”
  6. Filip Baloš – “Novi plan drugi san”
  7. Nađa – “Moj prvi ožiljak na duši”
  8. Empathy Soul Project – “Indigo”

  The Serbian selection continues with the second semi-final show with the last set of eight finalists to be determined to complete the Grand final line-up.
