Eurovision 2024: Head of Delegations Meeting takes place in Malmö

  • The meeting of the Heads of Delegation of the 37  participating countries  in Eurovision 2024 is taking place today in Malmö.

    Today is also the official deadline where the countries participating in the 68th edition of Eurovision Song Contest have to submit their representatives and their songs. 

    All delegates will be informed by the SVT, the hosting broadcaster and EBU on preparations for the May competition.

    Each of the broadcasters is invited to submit the final version of their song and their plans for the presentation of their song on stage. Any changes to the songs after this date must be approved by the Eurovision Song Contest Reference group.

    Durind the meeting, the leaders of each delegation will be informed about how the rehearsals are going to be conducted as also the press conferences.

    Eurovision  2024

    Loreen won the 67th edition of the Eurovision Song Contest for Sweden with “Tattoo” . Malmö will host the contest for the third time, having previously hosted in 1992 and 2013.

    The slogan of next year's edition will be 'United By Music' which will serve onwards as the permanent slogan of the contest. 

    Eurovision 2024 is set to unfold on May 7, 9 with the two semifinals and on May 11 with the Grand final. A total of 37 countires will be participating in the 68th edition .
