Eurovision 2024: Malmö confirms Eurovision Village location

  • The city of Malmö has confirmed the spot where the Eurovision Village will be located  for the Eurovision Song Contest 2024. 

    Malmö has revealed the location of one of the side elements of each Eurovision Song Contest, the Eurovision Village. This year's Eurovision village will be located at one of the iconic hotspots of the city, Folkets Park.

    Folkets Park  is the oldest public park in Malmo that is today an amusement park with plenty of facilities for children and adults. It’s a must see place, especially if you are travelling with children. On its territory is situated a little zoo and a terrarium, as well as a gigantic ferris wheel. Here you’ll have the opportunity to have a pony ride and watch circus art, theatre and films for children.

    About the Eurovision Village

    Eurovision Village is the official ‘fan zone’ of the festival where various Eurovision artists present their music and fans come together. Everyone can enjoy, because this stage is free of charge. Live performances, competitions,  parties will all take place at this central Eurovision meeting point. In addition to all this visitors will be able to view the three live shows on big screens while stands demostrating the local food will be located at the same spot.

     

    Eurovision 2024

    Following Loreen's victorious participation with 'Tatoo' in Liverpool last year , the next contest will be taking place in Malmo. Sweden.Malmö will host the contest for the third time, having previously hosted in 1992 and 2013.

    Eurovision 2024 is set to unfold on May 7, 9 with the two semifinals and on May 11 with the Grand final. A total of 37 countires will be participating in the 68th edition .
