Italy: Festival Sanremo 2024 first night results

• The first night of Festival Sanremo took place this evening with the 30 competing artists taking the stage for the first time. 

  The 74th edition of Festival di Sanremo started unfolding last evening at Teatro Ariston in Sanremo and will keep us company up to Saturday with the Grand final show. Hosting the contest is Amadeus joined for the first night by last year's winner Marco Mengoni, who represented Italy at Eurovision 2013 and 2023.

  The show featured several guest among which  Edoardo Leo presenter of the TV program “Il clandestino” . At Piazza Colombo performed live Lazza,who was last year's runner up while on the boat Costa Smeralda  Tedua, one of the most known Italian rappers, treated the audience with his own performance.

  The 30 contestants took the stage and delviered foe the first time their entries:

  13. Alessandra Amoroso – “Fino a qui”
  14. The Kolors – “Un ragazzo una ragazza”
  15. Angelina Mango – “La noia”
  16. Il Volo – “Capolavoro”
  17. BigMama – “La rabbia non ti basta”
  18. Ricchi e Poveri – “Ma non tutta la vita”
  19. Emma – “Apnea”
  20. Francesco Renga and Nek – “Pazzo di te”
  21. Mr. Rain – “Due altalene”
  22. Bnkr44 – “Governo punk”
  23. Gazzelle – “Tutto qui”
  24. Dargen D’Amico – “Onda alta”
  25. Rose Villain – “Click Boom!”
  26. Santi Francesi – “L’amore in bocca”
  27. Fred De Palma – “Il cielo non ci vuole”

  First night results

  During this first show the accredited press were the ones to hand in their votes and form the first scoreboard of the competition. However, only the top 5 results were revealed which found Loredana Berte topping the score with her song Pazza.

  The festival progresses on February 7, at 20:40 CET to the second night during which only the 15 acts will take the stsge this time to be evalutaed by the radio media and the public.
