Latvia: Dons wins national final with “Hollow” and is off to Eurovision 2024

Dons won the Supernova national final in Latvia with his song 'Hollow' and will representing the country at Eurovision 2024 in Malmo, Sweden.
Following last week's semi-final a total of 10 acts advanced to the final this evening that will declare which artist will represent the Baltic nation at Eurovision 2024 in Malmo.
The show was aired on the Latvian national broadcaster, LTV and was hosted by Ketija Šēnberga and Lauris Reiniks.

The competing acts of night were:
- Vēstulēs — “Kur?”
- Avéi — “Mine”
- Papīra Lidmašīnas — “Mind Breaker”
- Katrīna Gupalo — “The Cat’s Song”
- Ecto — “Outsider”
- Dons — “Hollow”
- St Levića — “Tick Tock”
- Edvards Strazdiņš — “Rock n’ Roll Supernova”
- Funkinbiz — “Na Chystu Vodu”
- Alekss Silvers — “For the Show”
The results
The outcome of the final was determined by a contribution of jury and public voting. Dons with 'Hollow' topped both voting receving maximum 12 points by both bodies leaving second Vestules with 'Kur'. Here are the analytical results of the national final:
Dons will represent Latvia at Eurovision 2024 performing in the second half of the 2nd semi-final on May 9, 2024 in Malmo Arena.
