Portugal: Festival da Canção 2024 Second Semi-Final Results

Following the results of the first semi-final show Portugal continued their national selection for Eurovision 2024 with the 2nd semi- final of Festival da Canção 2024.
Portugal is using once again its traditional national selection format of Festival da Canção which is running for its 58th edition. The 2nd semi final show will take place in RTP studios in Lisbon and will be hosted by Tânia Ribas de Oliveira, José Carlos Malato and Inês Lopes Gonçalves.
The 10 acts to take the stage this evening are:
1. Buba Espinho – “O Farol”
2. Cristina Clara – “Primavera”
3. Léo Middea – “Doce Mistério”
4. Filipa – “You Can’t Hide”
5. João Couto – “Quarto Para Um”
6. Huca – “Pé De Choro”
7. No Maka ft Ana Maria – “Aceitar”
8. Maria João – “Dia”
9. Rita Onofre – “Criatura”
10. Silk Nobre – “Change”
The results
An in studio jury by 50% and the public vote by another 50% determined the last six qualifiers to the Grand final show set for March 9,2024. The jury is made up by the following members:
- Gisela João – singer
- Benjamim – musician
- Lia Pereira – journalist
- Miguel Esteves Cardoso – songwriter
- Lura – singer
- Pedro Oliveira – musician
- Mimicat – Portugal's Eurovision 2023 act
The result come out through two rounds of voting. During the first round of votes, an experts jury and televote determine five qualifiers. In the second round, the remaining five songs went into an additional round of voting exclusively by the public which selected a sixth finalist.
The six acts that made it to the final are:
- Buba Espinho – “O Farol”
- No Maka ft Ana Maria – “Aceitar”
- Léo Middea – “Doce Mistério”
- Silk Nobre – “Change”
- Cristina Clara – “Primavera
- Rita Onofre – “Criatura” ( Public voting's choice )

Therefore, the 12 acts that will be giving the final battle to win the competition and secure the right to represent Portugal at Eurovision 2024 are:

- Nena – “Teorias da Conspiração”
- Perpétua – “Bem Longe Daqui”
- Iolanda – “Grito”
- João Borsch – “Pelas Costuras”
- Noble – “Memory”
- Buba Espinho – “O Farol”
- No Maka ft Ana Maria – “Aceitar”
- Léo Middea – “Doce Mistério”
- Silk Nobre – “Change”
- Cristina Clara – “Primavera
- Rita Onofre – “Criatura”
The Portuguese national selection concludes next Saturday 9 March for the grand final of Festival da Canção 2024.
