Eurovision 2021: First rehearsal for Måneskin from Italy

  • Italy kicks off the rehearsals for the Big-5 countries with Måneskin taking the stage for their first rehearsal of their entry 'Zitte e Buoni'.

    The group, made up of four young Romans, was born in 2015 by bassist Victoria De Angelis and guitarist Thomas Raggi, who was later joined by singer Damiano David and finally drummer Ethan Torchio. They rose to prominence in 2017 thanks to second place at X-Factor, and since then they have strung together one success after another. 

     Beginners in Sanremo, they won as outsiders with their "Zitti e buoni" which met with the favor of the press and televoting inaugurating the first victory of an alternative rock song at the iconic Italian Festival.

    Maneskin bring on stage a powerful and full of energy performance. The lead singer, Damiano, gave a stunning vocal performance, wearing a fluorescent pants, without a blouse. Behind it there is a pedestal where the other members are located on . The staging moves in black and white tones initially, switching a domination of red, to finish with blue while the LED screens  the member's figures imerge.
