The first 10 out of 17 competing acts of the 2021 Eurovision Second Semi-final are taking the stage to make their second rehearsals and improve technically even more their staging while the Big-5 countries ( France, Spain, Germany, United Kingdom and Italy) along with the host country The Netherlands, will take the stage for their first rehearsal.
The rehearsal week has been divided into two primary phases: From today and up to Tuesday 11/5 the first rehearsals of all competing countries into the two semi finals took place while from tomorrow Wednesday 12/5 till Saturday 15/5 the second reeharsals of all competing countries in the semi finals are held along with the first rehearsals of the Big-5 countries and the host nation.
Last two acts for today from the semi final 2 countries were Daði og Gagnamagnið from Iceland and Hurricane from Serbia.
Iceland - Daði og Gagnamagnið (Ten years)
The Icelandic band appears on stage wearing the familiar to the audience, from last year's performances, turquoise blouses and black pants. No major changes to the first rehearsal's performance with the icelandic hopefuls bringing the mood of playing with a colorful fun perfromances. The graphics on the background make the whole performance seem as they are in a video game of the 80's -90's.
Vocally they have no issue with the leading singer being in harmony with the rest backing vocals. Iceland is one of the favorites for victory and a performance as this without doubt elevates their chances.
Serbia - Huricane (Loco- Loco)
The Hurrican grils from Serbia bring another stormy performance on stage for their second rehearsal. This must be the most dynamic and poweful performance of the year with ongoing motion along with the strong vocals. The female trio perform with white and red light dominating the stage while the word Loco-Loco and Baby imerge on the background screen.
One more good performance for Hurricane that have elevated their chances to achieve a good result in this year's contest.
