  • Eden Alene the “Next Star” winner will represent Israel with a new song at Eurovision 2021 , after EBU’s decision not to allow the Eurovision 2020 entries to compete at the next year’s contest.

After the Eurovision in the Netherlands was canceled due to the spread of the Corona virus , the public national broadcaster, KAN, announced today that Eden Elena will represent Israel in the competition next year.

Following the cancellation, the singer in the Culture Agent program at 11 said last week: ” I don’t know how to digest it.” In an interview with Kobe Midn and Lucy Aharish, she added: “I wanted to do this and I wanted to win. I saw people’s reactions and they loved the song and its message so much and it made me so angry,” she concluded, unable to hold her tears back .

Today the news were relieving for the young act. Below you can see her reaction the moment she heard during the live show KAN's decision to continue with her in the next edition of the Eurovision Song Contest.
