Italy: Watch tonight the Grand Final show of Sanremo Festival 2021

  • The final show of the 71st Sanremo Festival is set to take place this evening at 20:45 CET the result of which will determine the next Italian Eurovision hopeful. 

    This evening the final of the 2021 edition of the Sanremo Italian Song Festival will take place at Teatro Ariston, in order to determine the winner in the Campioni category who will represent Italy at the Eurovision Song Contest 2021 in Rotterdam next May. Amedeus will host the final show along with Rosario Fiorello  Serena Rossi (RAI's ESC 2018 commentator) , Tecla Insolia (2nd  in the “Nuove Proposte Category” in 2020) and the journalist Giovanna Botteri. 

    Several ex-winners of the Festival and  former Eurovision representatives return as guests: Francesco Gabbani (2017), who will duet with Ornella Vanoni , Umberto Tozzi (1987) and Riccardo Fogli (1983) who will sing together with Michele Zarrillo and Paolo Vallesi. Still alongside Amadeus the Milan striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic and finally we will see Achille Lauro performing on stage

    The 26 acts competing in the Campioni Category will perform for the last time their entries on stage. Once again we will see this evening the following acts delivering their songs on stage:

    • Ermal Meta – Un milione di cose da dirti
    • Fasma – Parlami
    • Arisa – Potevi fare di più
    • Gio Evan – Arnica
    • Måneskin – Zitti e buoni
    • Aiello – Ora
    • Ghemon – Momento perfetto
    • La Rappresentante di Lista – Amare
    • Malika Ayane – Ti piaci così
    • Max Gazzè e Trifluoperazina Monstery Band –Il farmacista
    • Annalisa – Dieci
    • Bugo – E invece sì
    • Colapesce e Dimartino – Musica leggerissima
    • Noemi – Glicine
    • Random – Torno a te

    The Voting Process

    Once all 26 acts complete their performances the votes will come from televoting exclusively. The public's verdict will be added to the overall score that has came out from the previous four nights and the three first acts with the higher ranking will qualify to a superfinal round. 

    During the Superfinal round all points will be reset and the final score that will determine the winner will be influnced 34% by televoting, 33% by the press jury and 33% by the demoscopic jury. The winner will have the right to represent the country at Eurovision 2021 in Rotterdam next May.
