Malta: Sacha Jean-Baptiste Destiny's staging director at Eurovision 2021

  • Sacha Jean-Baptiste will be responsible for Destiny's staging at Eurovision 2021 where she will perform her song “Je Me Casse“.

     

    Through her Instagram account, Malta's Eurovision 2021 hopeful revealed that she has teamed up with Sacha Jean-Baptiste in order to present us a spectacular performance in Rotterdam. 

     

    Destiny is these days in Sweden where her rehearsals are taking place and during a chat with Sacha  she revealed that her staging wil be directed by the epxerienced creative director. The two of them confirmed that they are working really good together while the staging that we will see in Rotterdam fits Destiny so well. 

     

    Malta joins the list of countries that have trusted the set up of their staging to Sacha- Jean Baptiste with Albania, Sweden, Georgia and Switzerland joining forces with the experienced director. 

     

    About Sacha Jean-Baptiste

    Sacha is no stranger to the Eurovision family, as she has contributed to the staging of 17 entries of seven countries the last ten years. Some the stagings she had created and stand out were, Loreen's performance of "Euphoria" in ESC 2012 for Sweden  which won the competition, Kristian Kostov‘s Beautiful mess for Bulgaria which came 2nd in Eurovision 2017 and of course the explosive performance of Eleni Foureira's "Fuego" for Cyprus in Eurovision 2018. In 2019 she had taken care of the Luca Hanni's staging in Tel Aviv , which finished in the honordable 4th placing.

    Destiny is set to compete in the second half of the 1st semi final on May 18 performing her song  “Je Me Casse“.
