Norway:  Blåsemafian & Hazel win the first semi final ticket to the MGP 2021 Grand final

  • The first semi final of Melodi Grand Prix 2021 has been completed and we have our first finalists from the semi finals stage, as  Blåsemafian & Hazel won today's semi final show ane are off to the Grand final.

    The Norwegian national selection kicked off this evening with the first semi final round live at  Η3 Arena Fornebu and was aired by NRK. The show was hosted  by Kåre Magnus BerghIngrid Gjessing Linhave and Ronny Brede Aase. 

    Tye 1st semi final saw a total of four acts compete in two duels. The winner of each duel moved on to a Gold Duel from which the winner won the ticket to the Grand final show set to take place on February 20. 

    The duels that we saw on stage tonight were: 

     

    Duel 1

    Here is the studio version of the entry that advanced this evening to the final.

     

    The outcome of the night was determined by public vtoing exclusively. The contestants who did not make it through will have one more try during the Second Chance round on February 14.  

    In addition, apart form the contestants the stage took this evening two of the six prequalified MGP 2021 finalists. Namely the ones that performed their entries were:

    TIX - Ut Av Mørket

     

    The second semi final round is set for next Saturday, January 23.
