The Voting Process
The result of the national final will be determined exclusively by public voting and will consist of three round. After the first round of voting the four acts with the most votes will advance to the next round. All scores will start from zero and the two acts who will receive the most votes will proceed to a final gold round, during which the final winner and next Eurovision representative will be selected.
To avoid last year's technical issus in the voting system, NRK will have a back up jury of 1000 members which will replace the public vote in case the voting system crashes. Voters will be able to cast their votes not only through the web application but via SMS too.
Ulrikke who was due to represent Norway at Eurovision 2020 will be returning to the Melodi Grand Prix stage as the interval act.The MGP 2021 final will begin at 19:50 CET and you can watch it here.
