Belgium: RTBF unveils its alternative Eurovision 2020 program

• The French speaking Belgic national broadcaster, RTBF, will be airing the atlernative Eurovision program titled 'Eurovision, votre Top 20' , that will be replacing this year's cancelled Eurovision show.

  RTBF has set for May 14 a special show titled Eurovision, votre Top 20 , an alternative show decided after the ESC 2020  cancellation due to the cornavirus pandemic.

  According to the show's concept the public  will have the opportunity to vote for it top 10 all time favorite Eurovision entries through a poll running on the official RTBF website . Out of a list of  20 past ESC entries  the fans have to pick their 10 favorite ones. The show will be hosted by  Maoureen Louys and Jean-Louis Lahaye.

  The list from which the audience is invited to choose its top 10, includes some of the most outstanding winners of the contest. Namely those are the following:

  • ABBA – Waterloo
  • Alexander Rybak – Fairytale
  • Brotherhood of Man – Save Your Kisses for Me
  • Bucks Fizz – Making your mind up
  • Celine Dion – Ne partez pas sans moi
  • Conchita Wurst – Rise Like a Phoenix
  • Dana International – Diva
  • France Gall – Poupée de cire, poupée de son
  • Johnny Logan – Hold Me Now
  • Lena – Satellite
  • Lordi – Hard Rock Hallelujah
  • Loreen – Euphoria
  • Måns Zelmerlöw – Heroes
  • Marie Myriam – L’Oiseau Et L’Enfant
  • Netta – Toy
  • Ruslana – Wild Dances
  • Salvador Sobral – Amar Pelos Dois
  • Sandie Shaw – Puppet on a String
  • Sandra Kim – J’aime La Vie
  • Teach In – Ding A Dong

  Fans  also may have the chance through this voting format to win an exclusive compilation of the 41 titles of this very special edition of 2020. The voting closes on May 3 at 11:59 pm.
