Saturday, 29 February 2020

  • This evening Croatia decided who will represent the country at the 65th Eurovision Song Contest, as the national final of Dora 2020 took place at the Marino Cvetkovic Hall in Opatija. Winner after an exciting voting process was Damir Kedžo with his entry Divlji vjetre.

Hosts of the show were  Doris Pincic Rogoznica, Zlata Mück Susec, Mirko Fodor and Dusko Curlic, while the show saw as special guests the ESC 2018 winner,  Netta from Israel,  and last year’s representative, Roko. A total of 16 acts competed in this year’s edition of Dora 2020 and the final winner was  determined by a combination of public and jury voting.

The 16 artists that took to the stage tonight were:

    16. Damir Kedžo – Divlji vjetre

The final show turned into a battle of two, as Mia Negovetić  topped the jury voting while Damir Kedžo came first in the public voting. Therefore there was a tie between the two acts, among which Damir got the ticket to Rotterdam since in this case the public vote prevails.
