Germany: The national broadcaster reveals its alternative Eurovision 2020 schedule

The German national broadcaster, ARD, has unveiled its alternative Eurovision schedule that will be replacing the cancelled Eurovision 2020 shows in May.
After the EBU canceled this year's Eurovision on March 18, which would have taken place in Rotterdam on May 12, 14 and 16, several radio broadcasters have decided to do broadcast alternative Eurovision programs - in addition to the non-competition show Eurovision: Europe Shine A Lighton May 16 . Namely, the German national broadcaster will be broadcasting the through the program "World Wide Wohnzimmer" two special shows. During the first show which will hit our screen on May 9, and will work as a semi final show, the 41 ESC 2020 entries will be presented in order for the viewers and a jury to vote for the top 10 songs that will qualify in the atlernative final, set for May 16. The show will be presented to us by Dennis and Benni Wolter.
During the final show we will see live performances by some finalists in addtion to this year's German Eurovision 2020 act, Ben Dolic, who will present his ESC 2020 entry "Violent Thing" as it was set to be performed in Rotterdam. The show will be hosted by Barbara Schöneberger, during which the winner of the final will be announced.
The German broadcaster is on the list along with 45 other broadcasters, that have scheduled to broadcast the special show that will be replacing this year's Eurovision Song Contest, "Eurovision: Europe Shine A Light" , prepared by the three Dutch Eurovision 2020 host broadcasters and aiming to honor this year's selected Eurovision 2020 contestants that were deprived the chance to perform in Rotterdam.
