Austria:  Vincent Bueno performs live his Eurovision 2021 entry

  • The Austrian Eurovision 2021 hopeful, Vincent Bueno, appeared last evening on ORF's tv show “Starmania 21” where he performed live his Eurovision entry "Amen".

    With the Eurovision Song Contest around the corner this year's competing acts are making their last promotional appearances on the media, a few days before the official rehearsals kick off in Rotterdam. 

    The Austrian 2021 hopeful, Vincent Bueno, appeared last evening on ORF's show "Starmania21" where he performed live his Eurovision entry 'Amen'.

    "Amen" is a ballad song that moves away in different music paths from what Vincent has got us used to hear from him and last year's ESC entry "Alive". The song has been written by Mikołaj Trybulec, Vincent Bueno, Jonas Thander, Bright Sparks, Tobias Carshey & Pele Loriano.

    Bueno will be competing in the second semi final show, on May 20, 2021 in Rotterdam Ahoy where he'll be performing 5th on stage his song.  

     

    A few words about Vincent

    Vincent Bueno (December 10, 1985), is an Austrian-Filipino singer who is based in Austria and the Philippines. On January 12, 2008, he became the winner of the ORF programme, Musical! Die Show (Musical! The Show), an Austrian television musical contest.

    He also served as a support act for Filipino singer Sarah Geronimo’s concert in Vienna. On January 18, 2008, Bueno told the Philippine media of his plans to debut in the Philippines. He then made his first performance in Philippine Television on ASAP XV on August 29, 2010. He also signed a contract under Star Records, an ABS-CBN Entertainment Group Company, to pursue his music career in the Philippines.

    In 2009 he released his debut album ,entitle “Step by step” . In 2016, he participated in the Austrian Eurovision national final, with his song All we need is that love, while one year later, he served as a backing vocalist for Nathan Trent, who represented their country in Kiev and finished in 16th position. His latest work was released in 2018 entiled  Invincible. 

    Vincent Bueno was selected internally to represent the country at Eurovision 2020 in Rotterdam witht the song “Alive” but as the event was cancelled due to the coronavirus outbreak, missed the joy to perform in Rotterdam.
