Azerbaijan: Efendi gives us a small taste of her Eurovision 2021 staging

  • Azerbaijan's Eurovision 2021 hopeful, Efendi, has revealed a small part of her choreography that we will see  next May on Rotterdam Ahoy's stage. 

    With the dates of the next Eurovision Song Contest approaching all delegates are in full steam preparing their teams in order to be ready in the best way for the live shows in Rotterdam. 

    All of the Eurovision competings acts are either filming their live on tape performance, required for this year's edition, or filming their Eurovision postcard, while the same time they are in ongoing rehearsals under the guidance of their creative director preparing their stage performance. 

    The representative of the Land of Fire, Efendi, treated her fans on instagram with a snippet from her rehearsals, giving a small taste of what to expect on stage in Rotterdam delivering her entry "Mata Hari".  As revealed previously Mads Enggaard is Efendi's creative director for her on stage performance. 

     

    Azerbaijan invited back for Eurovision 2021 last year's ESC hopeful, Samira Efendi, who will perform "Mata Hari" in Rotterdam. The song has been penned by Amy van der Wel, Josh Earl, Luuk van Beers and Tony Cornelissen. Efendi will compete in the second half of the 1st semi-final show on May 18, 2021.
