Bulgaria: Intelligent Music Project release their Eurovision 2022 entry 'Intention'

The Bulgarian Eurovision 2022 hopefuls, the rock band Intelligent Music Project , have released their entry for Turin titled 'Intention'.
And yes we have our first entry for Eurovision 2022! Intelligent Music Project from Bulgaria have premiered their song for the competition in Turin, releasing the official music video of 'Intention'.
The rock group who have been internally selected to represent Bulgaria at the forthcoming Eurovision Song Contest in Turin, Italy next May, premiered their Eurovision song this morning during BNT's show 'Denyat zapochva s Georgi Lyubenov' (The day begins with Georgi Lyubenov) .
The song talks about the inner personal battle people give in order to find their right path. This battle cannot be won through out of date format of faith but via a strong intention that lead to the good side.
Who are Intelligent Project Music?
Intelligent Music Project are a rock band created by Milen Vrabevski. The group consists of Slavin Slavchev , who hs won the X-Factor Bulgaria, Ivo Stefanov, Bisser Ivanov, Dimitar Sirakov and Stoyan Yankoulov.
Stoyan is no stranger to the Eurovision world as he represented Bulgaria along witg Elitsa Todorova in two past editions of the Eurovision Song Contest. Namely, back in 2007 in Helsinki with the song "Voda" which placed 5th, marking the country's best results in the competition up to that point, and at Eurovision 2013 in Malmö in 2013 performing "Samo Shampioni" where they failed to qualify to the final the Grand Final.
The group has to date released six studio albums and have worked with rock musicians from across the globe. There work features hard-rock music with progressive elements through extensive use of the keyboards and catchy guitar chord synths.
Also alongside the group will be Ronnie Romero as the lead members. Romero is widely known as the leading vocalist of a number of bands among which Lords of Black and Rainbows.
Bulgaria in Eurovision
Bulgaria debuted in ESC in 2005 in Kiev. The Balkan country has already 12 participations in the contest and has made it to the Grand Final show only 3 times. in 2007 represented by Elitsa and Stoyan (5th place), in 2016 it was Poli Genova (4th place) and in 2017 Kristian Kostov was the runner up.
Bulgaria’s last participation, after 2019 withdrawal, was in 2018 with Equinox and their entry “Bones“which finished 14th in the Grand final.
Last year Victoria Georgieva was selected by BNT to represent the country at Eurovision 2020 with her song “Tears Getting Sober”. Although Victoria’s Eurovision 2020 journey was interrupted by the cancellation due to the covid-19 outbreak, the female act however had a second chance to represent the country in Rotterdam as BNT confirmed her as their hopeful for Eurovision 2021.
Victoria performed the song 'Growing is getting older' and finished 11th in the Grand final in Rotterdam.
