Estonia: Second semi-final results complete the Eesti Laul 2021 grand final line up

  • The second semi final of Eesti Laul 2021 took place this evening determinng the second set of six qualifiers, completing the  final show's line up for March 6. 

    The Eesti Laul 2021 second semi final heat was held in Tallin at the  Saku Suurhall without audience attending the event due to the covid-19 restrictions. The show was hosted by  Tonis Niinemets and Grete Kuld.

     

    A total of 12 acts took to the stage and competed for six qualifying spots, the perfomances of which follow below: 

     

     

    1. Sissi – “Time” (Sissi Nylia Benita, Andrei Zevakin, Kelly Tulvik)

     

    2. Gram-Of-Fun – “Lost In A Dance” (Martin Kuut, Kristel Aaslaid, Raul Ojamaa, Kostja Tsõbulevski, Mikk Simson)

     

     

    3. Kadri Voorand – “Energy” (Kadri Voorand)

     

     

    4. Helen – “Nii kõrgele” (So High)  - (Rob Montes, Jason Hunter, Renae Rain, Helen Randmets)

     

     

    5. REDEL – “Tartu” (authors Kristjan Oden, Indrek Vaheoja)

     

     

    6. Rahel – “Sunday Night” (Rahel Ollisaar, Frederik Küüts, Jason Hunter)

     

     

    7. Uku Haasma – “Kaos” (Uku Haasma, Henri Erik Tammai, Rudolf Toltsberg)

     

     

    8. Heleza – “6” (authors Karl Killing, Helena Põldmaa)

     

    9. Uku Suviste – “The Lucky One” (authors Uku Suviste, Sharon Vaughn)

     

    10. Alabama Watchdog – “Alabama Watchdog”  (by Ken Einberg)

    12. Suured tüdrukud – “Heaven’s Not That Far Tonight” (Koit Toome, Gevin Niglas, Karl Killing)

     

     

    The Results

    Two rounds of voting determined this evening's result.In the first round a combination of jury (50%) and public voting (50%) determined the first four qualifying acts which are:

    Notable that the jury voted for the following four acts in this first round of voting:

    The remaining 8 contestants went through a second round of voting in which the audience exclusively voted for the two acts to join the first four qualifiers in the final show.

    Therefore the six qualifiers of this evening's semi final are:

    Therefore the Grand final of Eesti Laul 2021 will see the following 12 acts competing for the right to represent Estonia at Eurovision 2021 in Rotterdam next May:
