Estonia: Watch tonight the 1st semi final of Eesti Laul 2021

The Estonian national selection for Eurovision 2021 kicks off tonight with the first semi final round of Eesti Laul 2021, the show that will determine the nation's ESC hopeful.
The Eesti Laul 2021 first semi final heat will take place in Tallin at Saku Suurhall but no audience will be present due to the covid-19 restrictions. The show will be hosted by Tonis Niinemets and Grete Kuld.
In this evening semi final a total of 12 acts will take to the stage and battle for the six tickets that secure a spot in the grand final which is set to take place on March 6, 2021.
The 12 competing acts of the 1st semi final are:
- Tanja – “Best Night Ever” ( Timo Vendt, Tanja Mihhailova-Saar, Mihkel Mattisen)
- Hans Nayna – “One By One” (Vahur Valgmaa, Hans Nayna)
- Wiiralt – “Tuuled” (Winds) - (Pat Lyons, Martin Saaremägi)
- Kéa – “Hypnotized” (Ketter Orav, Sander Sadam, Alvar Antson, Karl-Mathias Saarse)
- Andrei Zevakin & Pluuto – “Wingman” (Andrei Zevakin, Henry Orlov)
- Karl Killing – “Kiss Me” (by Karl Killing)
- Nika Marula – “Calm Down” (Andrei Zevakin, Nika Marula, Daniil Kotilevits)
- Egert Milder – “Free Again” (Kaspar Kalluste, Matteo Capreoli, Egert Milder)
- Tuuli Rand – “Üks öö” (One Night) - (Gevin Niglas, Kristel Aaslaid, Tuuli Rand)
- Koit Toome – “We Could Have Been Beautiful” (Joonas Parkkonen, Koit Toome, Peppina Pällijeff)
- Kristin Kalnapenk – “Find A Way” ( Kristin Kalnapenk, Hannes Agur Vellend)
- Ivo Linna, Robert Linna, Supernova – “Ma olen siin” (I am here) -(Rainer Michelson, Robert Linna)
In this semi final we will see compete the two times Estonian ESC representative, Koit Toome, who had represented the country in 1998 with his song “Mere Lapsed” in Birmingham which came 12th and in 2017 alongside with Laura performing Verona" a fan favorite song which failed to reach the grand final. Also among the contestants we see Tanja the Estonian ESC act in 2014 with her song "Amazing", which failed to qualify from the first semi-final, placing 12th with a score of 36 points. In addition, Ivo Linna closes the former ESC representatives line up in this semi final, who represented the nation back in 1996 along with Maarja-Liis Ilus and their entry "Kaelakee hääl" which finished 5th in the final.
Two rounds of voting will determine this evening's result. In the first round a combination of jury and public voting will select the first four qualifying acts while in the second round exclusively public voting will determine the two last qualifying artists.
