Eurovision 2021: First rehearsal for Albina from Croatia

  • Next up for her first rehearsal on Rotterdam Ahoy's stage is Albina from Croatia who is performing the song "Tick-Tock". 

    Albina won this year's Dora national final and booked her ticket to Rotterdam with her song 'Tick-Tock', which has received big acceptance not only within Croatia but also around the region.  The wide audience got to know her through her participation in December 2019, in season three of The Voice Hrvatska where she finished third.

    Previously Albina Grčić auditioned for the second season of X Factor Adria in Belgrade, but left early the show as she was proposeed to join a new famle group for the show but declined the offer. 

    Along other six acts Albina's staging director is the experirienced Marvin Dietmann. 

    The Staging 

    Albina begins her song alone on stage and the stage scene is illuninated by pink colored graphics on the LeD screen. Not long after ther backing dancers join her on stage. She wears a silver bodysuit with rhinestones while the dancers wear overalls with rhinestones. All the supporting scenes are used throughout the show.

    At some point of the song her four dancers lift her up but they finish the song ending up on the floor. Her performance seems like a grand final qualifier.
