Eurovision 2021: The Dutch King looks in on Rotterdam Ahoy

His Majesty King Willem Alexander of the Netherlands looked in on the 2021 Eurovision venue, Rotterdam Ahoy, in order to see himself how the Eurovision 2021 preparations are progressing.
With the preparation in Rotterdam Ahoy in full swing giving shape to the Eurovision stage and the Green Room, which are almost completed.
King Willem Alexander of the Netherlands, earlier today made a stop over at Rotterdam Ahoy, was shown around the venue having the chance to check out the progress of the stage construction and the side parts of the concept. In addition the King contacted working teams in the TV production field and was informed how the whole covid-19 situation has affected the process of producing the live shows and which difficult tasks the pandemic brought in their responsibilities.

The Dutch King got to meet with the person behind this year's stage design, Florian Wieder, who was on spot explaining the elements and the story behind the Eurovision 2021 stage design. Of course his Majesty didn't miss to speak with some of the 600 volunteers who will be contributing in the organization the weeks that it will be unfolding in Rotterdam.
