Rimini's proposal for hosting the competition is based on the  Rimini Expo Centre. Designed by the GMP Practice in Hamburg, it occupies a total area of 460 thousand square metres: 169,000 square metres of usable space, 109,000 of gross exhibition space, 16 single-level halls. It can welcome around 10,000 viewres and includes a reception, technical and service areas, a functional and technical operations centre, a press room with national radio and television transmission centre, restaurants, self-service, snack bars. The Centre is laid out on a single level and is fully cabled.

On the other hand, the possibilities of 105 Stadium and Palasport Flaminio, the two arenas that have characterized the present and past history of sport (and not only) in Rimini, are unrealistic, at least in terms of the actual competition.
