Eurovision 2024: Big-5 countries' running order positions determined

• Following their 2nd rehearsals the Big-5 countries went into a draw determining their running order positions in the Grand final. 

  We already know from the draw traditionally taking place at the Head of Deleagations meeting, that Sweden and the host nation's representatives, Marcus & Martinus, will be opening the Grand Final appearing at #1.

  Once the second rehearsals were completed the Big Five countries,  the United Kingdom, Germany, France, Spain and Italy, randomly drew the position in which the they will be appearing in next Saturday's Grand final show.  

  Unlike previous editions, where the semi-final qualifiers and the Big-5 had a chance of been draw to perform in the first or second half of the Grand final this year the draw includes one more possibiltiy that of the "producers' choice". 

  Therefore, the draw for the Big - 5 countries and the host nattion has come out: 

  

  The rest running orders positions for the 20 semi-final qualifiers will be determined after each semi-final show. 

   

  Eurovision 2024

  Following Loreen's victorious participation with 'Tatoo' in Liverpool last year , the next contest will be taking place in Malmo. Sweden.Malmö will host the contest for the third time, having previously hosted in 1992 and 2013.

  Eurovision 2024 is set to unfold on May 7, 9 with the two semifinals and on May 11 with the Grand final in Malmo Arena. A total of 37 countires will be participating in the 68th edition . 

  In this year's edition EBU established the slogan 'United by Music' as the permanent slogan of the contest while 'Eurovision Light' is the title of the 2024 contest's theme art.
