Greece: 10 year old talented act Manolis Gkinis announced as the Eurovision 2021 spokesperson

  • The 10 year old pnenomenal act, Manolis Gkinis, has been announced by ERT as the Greek spokesperson for the upcoming 65th Eurovision Song Contest. 

    Change of direction for the national broadcaster, ERT, which this year chose a different person to reveal the Greek jury's 12 points in the Grand Final show!. ERT confirmed today that the 10 year old Manolis Gkinis will unveil Greece's jury votes in the Grand final on May 22, 2021. Manolis marks the youngest spokesperson in the history of the Eurovision Song Contest. 

    Manolis and his family gladly accepted the proposal of ERT, while the EBU executives, although they were first surprised by the choice of Greece, did not find it difficult to be convinced when they realized that the phenomenal act's experience in front of the cameras  is wider even from  other older "colleagues".

    Manolis came to fame with his participation in the successful ERT series "Our best years" in which he plays the role of the youngest member of the Antonopoulou family.

    The Greek national broadcaster is giving space to the younger generations in this year's contest. Apart from Manolis even the Greek hopeful , Stefania, is the youngest competing act in this year's competition. 

    Stefania is set to perform 4th in the second semi final show on May 20, 2021 singing her entry "Last Dance".
