    Constantinos Christoforos

The second ESC past participant that is reported to submit a song for the Greek selection. Constantinos has performed three times on the Eurovision stage in the past, in Eurovision 1996 as a solo singer with "Mono Yia Mas" (9th), in 2002 as member of the boy band ONE with the song "Gimme" (6th) and in 2005 with the song "Ela Ela" (18th) , all three times representing Cyprus. In 2010 he participated in the Cyprus final for Eurovision Song Contest, with the song "Angel", which placed second nearly missing the opportunity to represent the country in the 2010 Eurovision Song Contest for the fourth time.

Since 1994 and is first single he has met wide success in Cyprus and Greece, marking one of the most popular stars in the music scene. Will he accomplish to reach the Eurovision stage for a fourth time?

    Kalomira

The Greek Eurovision 2008 representative, is one Greece's favorite sweet hearts. The gorgeous pop star’s genuine nature and humble upbringing, not to mention her absolute passion and love of singing and entertaining, helped her to go on to release six albums, one of which went Gold, along with three singles and in 2008 she was voted by the people of Greece to represent them in the Eurovision Song Contest, where she won third place with her entry the "Secret combination"

With the media over tha last two years mentioning, talks with ERT or even Cyprus for a possible Eurovision comeback which eventually never happened, this year Kalomira seems to be approaching that development more warmly than any other year before.

    Ilias Kozas

Ilias is the founder of the Greek rock band Koza Mostra which represented along with Agathonas Iakovidis Greece at Eurovision 2013 with the song "Alcohol is Free". Their performane brought Greece back to the top 10 finishing 6th in the final. Their maiden album Keep up the Rhythm, that was released on 2013, reached triple Platinum certification from Greek music industry authority IFPI. In late 2017, they released their second album entitled Corrida.

After touring in several cities around the continent and his last single "Requiem"(feat. Pedro Erazo) in 2020, Ilias is reported to be among the acts to make a Eurovision return in 2022.

    Evangelia

Evangelia, is a Greek - American singer who represented Greece in the thirty-third edition and thirty-fourth edition of the North Vision Song Contest with the song "Páme Páme" and "Fotiá".

The singer revealed yeasterday on the Greek talk show “Studio 4” that she will submit an entry for Eurovision 2022. The Greek American singer seems to be Panik Records' proposal, the label that was also behind Eleni Foureira's ESC 2018 entry 'Fuego' and Elena Tsagrinou's ESC 2021 song 'El Diablo'

Evangelia Psarakis grew up commuting between her grandmother’s small farm on the Greek island of Crete and her parents’ home in New Jersey on the American East Coast - two completely different musical worlds, both of which influenced her style. An Evangelia song blends modern urban pop music with sounds from her Greek roots, contemporary club beats and catchy melodies. By fusing American pop culture with traditional Greek elements, Evangelia honors her ancestors while also creating a legacy of her own.

    Joanne

Ioanna Georgakopoulou aka Joanne is Greece's last winner of The Voice, which she won being coached by ESC 2005 winner, Helena Paparizou. The yound talented acts who captivated the judges and the audience from Day 1 in the competition is one of Greece's uprising promising acts.

The new version of the famous song was edited by the leading radio producer & DJ Michalis Tsousopoulos together with ARCADE, while the production direction was taken over by Joanne's coach at The Voice Elena Paparizou, and Nektarios Kokkinos.

    Good Job Nicky

25 year old artist Good Job Nicky (real name Nick Varthakouris) became known, firstly in his home country of Greece, for his unique style, which wrapped gently-sung R&B and gospel/Byzantine-like vocals around pop, urban and electronic tones. The young singer-songwriter made his breakthrough in late 2020 with the modern power ballad ‘January 8th, with a surprising dominance of stripped-down backdrop (it begins with merely a piano and ethereal backing vocals, slowly building up a strong climax) that puts all the more focus on his own voice and words.

His talent isn't really a surprise as he is the son of Greece's all time most popular and great singers, Giannis Parios. He’s currently putting the finishing touches on his long-awaited new album, which will be released this fall, just a few months after his debut.

Will we get to see Good Job Nicky unfold his talent on the Eurovision stage is something we'll must wait to find out.

    Amanda Georgiadi

21 years old Amanda Georgiadi or Amanda Tenfjord, is a Greek- Norwegian singer born in Greece but since the age of 3 is based in Norway after her family moved to the north. Her father is Greek while her mother Norwegian. The young talented act has drawn the music scene's attention early with impressive single and notable collaborations with Askjell Solstrand (Sigrid, Aurora) and is considered as an uprising act in the Norwegian muysic scene.

Will Greece trust its ESC participation to another member of the Greek diaspora after this year Stefania's contributiion in Rotterdam. Judging by the top 10 result such choice combined with a good song will not come as a surprise at all.

With the submission window still opened until October 10, 2021 more acts are expected to come forward and claim the right to represent Greece in Eurovision 2022.

Who would you like to see from the Greek music scene on the Eurovision 2022 stage?
