Greece: Yianna Terzi drops her new single 'Selini'

  • The Greek Eurovision 2018 representative, Yianna Terzi, has dropped her new single titled 'Selini' (Moon). 

    The Greek Eurovision 2018 hopeful in Lisbon made us  musically dream with her song 'Oneiro mou' (My dream) , conveyed her anti-bullying message with her follow up song 'Karma' and after her emotional single with her father Paschalis Terzis in 'Gia sena mono' (For you only) is ready to travel us to the moon with her new work titled 'Selini' (Moon) .

    "Selini", which has just been released by Minos EMI, a Universal Music Company, is an up-tempo love song with a fresh sound with lyrics and music by George Kalogerakos. The direction of the impressive "lunar" music video, which was shot outside Athens at the end of July, belongs to Steven Airth & Spiros Kapsilis.

    The song is availiable on all streaming platforms. 

     

    A few words for Yianna

    Terzi was born in 1980 in Thessaloniki, the daughter of Greek singer Paschalis Terzis, one of Greece's nationally acclaimed singers. At age 20, she moved to Athens to pursue a music career, releasing her first CD single in 2005, and the album Gyrna to kleidi in 2006 through Cobalt Music. She then signed to Minos EMI and released the album Ase me na taxidepso in 2008 along with a single of the same name. Terzi later moved to the United States and worked as a talent scout for Interscope Records.

    In 2017 she signed up in the Greek national selection for Eurovision 2018 with the song 'Oniro mou'. After making it to the final three songs, in February 2018she got the ticket for the contest in Lisbon since the other two couldn't comply with the guarantee fee requirements according to the Greek broadcaster's decision.

    Yianna Terzi represented Greece in Eurovision 2018 at Lisbon with her song “Oniro mou” which despite receiving massive acceptance and being one of the fans favorite songs before the contest, sadly failed to qualify to the Grand final.
