Israel: The four candidate songs for Eurovision 2022 determined

Israel has selected the four songs that will be compete in the grand final of X-factor the show that will determine the country's act and song for Eurovision 2022.
A total of 8 candidate songs were created for the X-factor Israel four finalists, Inbal Bibi, Michael Ben David, Eli Huli and Sapir Saban two for each one.
After a number of auditions and shows, the semi finals completed and the four X-factor finalists determined on Channel 13, ahead of the X-factor Grand final, the special show 'HaShir Shelanu L’Eurovizion' took place in order to determine the songs the four finalists will perform in the X-factor final show.
During the show each of the four candidates performed two songs selected out of the songs sent in during the submission period. In this parallel semifinal the four candidate songs that we will see in the X-factor final were determined!
The singers and the competing songs were:
- Inabl Bibi – “ZaZa” & “Marionette“
- Sapir Saban – “Breaking my own walls” & “Head Up“
- Michael Ben David – “Don’t” & “I.M“
- Eli Huli – “Blinded Dreamers” & “Nostalgia“
The results of the show were influenced 50% by public vote, 25% by the judges' voting and the rest 50% by a professional committee.
Eventually, the four songs that were selected to compete in the national final are:

Inbal Bibi – MarionetteEli Huli – Blinded DreamersSapir Saban – Breaking My Own WallsThe X-factor Grand final is set for Saturday, February 5, 2022. It will consist of two rounds. In the first round the show will see the four finalists performing cover songs. Out of the four , one act will be eliminated with the rest three going into a second round during which they will be singing their potential Eurovision entries. The final winner will represent Israel at Eurovision 2022 in Turin.
