Italy: Carolina Di Domenico will be the Eurovision 2021 spokesperson

  • Carolina Di Domenico will be the spokesperson for Italy at the Eurovision Song Contest 2021 in the final evening of May 22nd .

    Carolina Di Domenico will have the honor to reveal the 12 points of the Italian jury in the Grand final show. Neapolitan, born in 1979, Carolina Di Domenico is not new to the eurovision world having commented on the two semifinals in 2018 together with Saverio Raimondo.

    Carolina will be the successor of Ema Stokholma who was the Italian spokesperson in  Eurovision 2019 and will be joining the list of the Italian spokpersons for RAI which since Italy return to the competition has as following:

    • Raffaella Carrà in 2011
    • Ivan Bacchi in 2012
    • Federica Gentile in 2013
    • Linus in 2014
    • Federico Russo in 2015
    • Claudia Andreatti in 2016
    • Giulia Valentina in 2017 and 2018
    • Ema Stokholma in 2019

     

    This year Italy will be represented by Maneskin who will be performing Zitti E Buoni in the Grand final directly as they are representing a Big-5 country. Italy is also set to cast their  vote in the first semifinal, on May 18th, along with Germany and host nation The Netherlands.
