Lithuania: The Roop perform live at the M.A.M.A Awards

• Lithuania's Eurovision 2021 hopefuls, The Roop, appeared during the M.A.M.A Awards and besides winning outstanding awards gave a live performance their Eurovision 2020 and 2021 entries. 

  Last year they went viral with their Eurovision 2020 entry "On Fire" this year they are heading to Rotterdam with their song "Discoteque" inviting us to ongoing dance party. Of cource their path to success brings them several nominations and awards in special award ceremonies. 

  One of those was yessterday the M.A.M.A Awards at Žalgiris Arena where they received nominations in five major categories from which they won four awards. Namely the Lithunanian Eurovision 2021 representative won the following awards: 

  • Breakthrough of the Year 2020
  • Pop Band of the Year 2020
  • Song of the Year 2020
  • Band of the Year 2020

  The were nominated also in  Best Music Video category for their ESC 2020 entry “On Fire” without winning the specific award. The group who was so excitted  for the nominations and awards stated on their instagram account: 

  "It took us 10 years to reach this. It's never too late to follow your dreams. It was our night at M.A.M.A. Awards"

  Besides the awards received The Roop treated the audience with a live on stage performance of their ESC 2020 entry "On Fire" which received the awards but this year's ESC entry "Discoteque", which you can watch in the following video:
