Lithuania: First four finalists determined with Pabandom iš naujo Semi-Final One

  • The first semi-final show of Pabandom iš naujo selected Saturday evening the first set of four finalists of the Lithuanian national selection for Eurovision 2022. 

    After three qualifying rounds the Lithuanian national selection progressed to the semifinals stage. This evening the first set of 9 acts, out of a total of 18 semifnalists, competed in the 1st semi-final heat of the national selection. The show was hosted by the trio  Ieva Stasiulevičiūtė, Giedrius Masalskis and Richardas Jonaitis

    Four finalists were determined through the first semi-final, with the results influenced 50% by public voting and 50% by jury voting. The jury had the right to comment on the performances but their points did not go public before the televoting had closed. 

    The nine semifinalists that compete in last evening's semi-final along with their represpective points are: 

     

    1.Elonas Pokanevič – Someday  - 5 points (3+2) 9th

     

    2.Emilijana – Illuminate - 9 points (3+6) 8th

     

    3.Erica Jennings – Back to Myself - 10 points (6+4) 6th

     

    4.Gebrasy – Into Your Arms - 18 points (10+8) 3rd

     

    5.Gintarė Korsakaitė – Fantasy Eyes - 10 points (5+5) 7th

     

    6.Joseph June – Deadly  - 10 points (7+3) 5th

     

    7.Justė Kraujelytė – How To Get My Life Back - 22points (12+10) 1st

     

    8.Lolita Zero – Not Your Mother - 20 points (8+12) 2nd

     

    9.Queens of Roses – Washing Machine - 11 points (4+7) 4th

     

    Therefore the four acts that have secured their place in finals  according to the points received are: 

    1. Justė Kraujelytė – How To Get My Life Back (22 points)
    2. Lolita Zero – Not Your Mother  (20 points)
    3. Gebrasy – Into Your Arms  (18 points)
    4. Queens of Roses – Washing Machine (11 points)

     

    The Lithuanian national selection continues next Saturday with the second semi-final show determining the last set of four finalists, according to the confirmed schedule: 

    • 1st Qualifying round – January 8
    • 2nd Qualifying round – January 15
    • 3rd Qualifying round – January 22
    • Semi-Final 1 – January 29
    • Semi-Final 2 – February 5
    • Grand Final – February 12
