Lithuania: The last four finalists determined with Pabandom iš naujo Semi-Final Two

  • The second semi-final show of Pabandom iš naujo selected Saturday evening the second set of four finalists of the Lithuanian national selection for Eurovision 2022, completing the final line-up.  

    After three qualifying rounds the Lithuanian national selection progressed to the semifinals stage. Following last week's first semi final show, this evening the second set of 9 acts, out of a total of 18 semifnalists, competed in the 2nd semi-final heat of the national selection. The show was hosted by the trio  Ieva Stasiulevičiūtė, Giedrius Masalskis and Richardas Jonaitis

    Four more finalists were determined through the second semi-final, with the results influenced 50% by public voting and 50% by jury voting. The jury had the right to comment on the performances but their points did not go public before the televoting had closed. 

    The nine semifinalists that compete in last evening's semi-final along with their respective jury and public voting scores are: 

     

    1. Mary Mo – Get Up - 6 points (4+2) 9th

     

    2. Vilija – 1010 - 9 points (6+3) 6th

     

    3. Urtė Šilagalytė – Running Chords - 12 points (2+10) 5th

     

    4. Ieva Zasimauskaitė – I’ll Be There - 13 points (8+5) 4th

     

    5. Augustė Vedrickaitė – Before You’re 6ft Under - 18 points (10+8) 2nd

     

    6. Rūta Loop – Call Me from the Cold - 14 points (7+7) 3rd

     

    7.Titas and Benas – Getting through This - 9 points (5+4) 7th

     

    8. Monika Liu – Sentimentai - 24 points (12+12) 1st

     

    9. Moosu X – Love That Hurts - 9 point (3+6) 8th

     

    Therefore the four acts that have secured their place in finals  according to the points received are: 

    • Ieva Zasimauskaitė – I’ll Be There
    • Augustė Vedrickaitė – Before You’re 6ft Under
    • Rūta Loop – Call Me from the Cold
    • Monika Liu – Sentimentai

    The four of them will be join the first four semi final one qualifiers in the Grand Final show. 

     

    The Lithuanian national selection concludes next Saturday with the final show determining Lithuania's Eurovision 2022 hopeful: 

    • 1st Qualifying round – January 8
    • 2nd Qualifying round – January 15
    • 3rd Qualifying round – January 22
    • Semi-Final 1 – January 29
    • Semi-Final 2 – February 5
    • Grand Final – February 12
