Eurovision 2021: Marvin Dietmann behind the staging for seven competing countries

  • Marvin Dietmann will be behind the staging of  Eurovision 2021 entries for seven competing countries, a remarkable number for the Austrian based director. 

     

    Not one not two but seven countries have assigned to Marvin Dietmann to be in charge of setting up the staging of their performances in Rotterdam at Eurovision 2021. 

     

    Namely the talented creative director will be taking care of the staging for the following competing entries on Rotterdam Ahoy's Arena: 

     

    Austria: Vincent Bueno - Amen

    Bulgaria: Victoria - Growing Up is Getting Older

    Croatia: Albina - Tick - Tock 

    Cyprus:  Elena Tsagrinou - El Diablo 

    Czech Republic: Benny Kristo - Omaga

    Estonia: Uku Suviiste - The Lucky One

    Spain: Blas Cantό - Voy e Quedarme

     

    About Marvin Dietman

    Marvin Dietmann is a creative director - who has produced many TV entertainment shows, films, music videos, theatre productions and concert tours all over Europe. Marvin was born in Vienna, Austria and began dancing at the age of 6. At 13 he started a professional ballet education and appeared in many classical ballets including Swanlake and Nutcracker. At the age of 16, he changed his educational direction and studied musical theatre, where he got trained in singing and acting.

    As a young musical actor, he worked for some of the leading theatres and TV channels in Austria & Germany. After a massive injury at the age of 22, he changed his focus, studied photography and started his first productions as an artistic director.

    He is responsible for the winning staging concept for Conchita Wurst for Austria in 2014 and Cesar Sampson's 3rd place in 2018. Dietmann was also stage director at Eurovision 2015, 2017 and 2018 and Viewing room Director in 2019. 

     

    Other ESC creative directors

    Meanwhile other creative directors that will be leaving their mark at the following 65th Eurovision Song Contest in Rotterdam by setting up the staging for more than one country are Sacha Jean-Baptiste who will be responsible for the staging of Swden, Switzerland, Georgia and Albania while Fokas Evagelinos will be instructing Greece and Moldova for the stage performance of Stefania and Natalia Gordienko respectively.
