  • Montenegro's national broadcaster, RTCG, has unveiled the members of the jury that will determine the country's Eurovision 2022 entry.

Two months ago RTCG has made an open call for songs as potential entries for the 66th edition of the Eurovision Song Contst in Turin, Italy. The submission period ended on December 10, with the broadcaster having received a total of 30 songs for the selection process.

The jury that will review the submitted songs has been unveiled. Namely the jurors that will determine the country's Eurovision 2022 etnry are:

    1. Stana Šalgo ( Head of the jury) - Radija Crne Gore editor
    2. Branka Banović - Music Editor of TV Crne Gore
    3. Danijel Alibabić - Head of the Montenegrin Association of pop artists
    4. Bojana Nenezić - Advisor for music culture at the Institute for Education
    5. Zoja Đurović - Professor at the Music School "Vasa Pavić"
    6. Dražen Bauković - Editor in the Entertainment Program of TVCG
    7. Nina Žižić -Pop artist and participant in the Eurovision Song Contest

    9. Ilmira Lika - Editor and director of TV Teuta
    10. Đorđije Kustudić - Marketing Manager of RTCG

Their task is to decide on the song that will represent our country in Turin from May 10 to 14, by scoring 24 compositions with proper documentation by the end of 2021.

Each member of the Commission evaluates the songs individually and secretly, and by simply adding all the points, a final table will be formed. The criteria on which they will judge the entries are:

    • The Song itsself – 50 points in stake
    • The Lyrics – 30 points in stake
    • Productional options the song has – 20 points in stake

Thus the most points a candidate entry can receive is 100 points in total if it scores maximum points in all three categories of criteria.
