North Macedonia: Dajte Muzika release their Junior Eurovision 2021 song 'Green Forces' and its music video

  • The North Macedonian Junior Eurovision 2021 representatives, Dajte Muzika have released the song 'Green Forces' and the music video of the entry they will be taking to the stage in La Seine Musicale.

    Namely, the four young talented acts, that star in Dajte Muzika and  will be the ones to fly the flag in Paris  are two girls and two boys: Kristina,  Ansatasija, Miha and Filip. The quartet will be performing the song "Green Forces'' the official music of which was released today. 

    The song along with its repsective video outline the disaster that human activities are causing to the natural environment and is a call to everyone to stop behaviors that damage this planet which is our home. A really strong message by the four young acts aiming to awake our environmental sensitivity. 

     

    A few words for Dajte Muzika

    Dajte Muzika is one of the most popular TV programms for children in North Macedonia, the main protagonists of which are a group of very talented actors and singers who in a short time became idols for the younger generation, having already released more than 80 songs and two albums within the framework of the show. This marks the first group that will be representing the country in its Junior Eurovision history and this year's first competing group. 

     

    North Macedonia in Junior Eurovision

    North Macedonia, previously presented in the contest as the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia (F.Y.R. Macedonia), has participated in the competition 15 times since their debut in the inaugural 2003 contest missing out only the editions of 2012, 2014 and 2020. 

    In the first edition of the contest back inl 2003 in Copenhagen, Denmark, represented by the song "Ti ne me poznavaš" performed by Marija and Viktorija. The song placed 12th in a field of 16 countries.

    The country's best performance at the contest has been 5th place, achieved twice to date – in 2007 when North Macedonia was represented by the song "Ding Ding Dong" performed by Rosica Kulakova and Dimitar Stojmenovski, and in 2008 with "Prati mi SMS" performed by Bobi Andonov.

    In 2019 in Gliwice-Silesia the nation was represented by Mila Moskov with her song "Fire" which finished 6th, marking the country's best result since 2008 when they finished 5th.
