Norway: KEiiNO release the official music video of their MGP 2021 entry

  • The prequalified Melodi Grand Prix 2021 finalists, KEiiNO, have released the official music video of their competing entry "Monument".

    The Melodi Grand Prix 2021 finalists and former Eurovision representatives , KEiiNO, have released the music video of their entry, Monument, the song via which they ambition to reach the Eurovision stage next May. 

    One day before the Norwegian group had teased the fans with a post on their social media

    Tomorrow at 21 the music video for "Monument" will come !!!  And in the video, we all stand with our own image of a monumental moment in life, or one of our everyday heroes. We are SO looking forward to you seeing the video tomorrow, but here is a small teaser, and the stories behind these three pictures 

    Fred: My great-grandfather Klemet comes from the generation that fought for the survival of Sami culture many, many years ago. He's my big everyday hero. His struggle, and his stand-on-will is one of the reasons why I get the opportunity to live out my dream to this day 

    Tom: I'm holding a picture of myself at the Glastonbury Festival with my husband, Alex. To stand with the person who enriches my life and be part of a large community that shares the joy of music, IT is a real "Glorious moment"

    Alexandra: My picture is of Tom & Fred from Eurovision in 2019. When I joined KEiiNO, I made two new friends for life. The guys really helped to realize my biggest dreams, and have become an important part of my life. They have simply become my monument.

    The video is filmed in all over Norway during October/ November 2020 by Tobias Aasgaarden. Produced by Tom Hugo and KEiiNO. Edited by Alex Holm and graded by Håvard Småvik. For the Additional video footage responsible has been Natural Light Earth.

    The muisc video pictures different places across Norway. Namely the locations featuring the video are: Lindesnes, Lysebotn, Haukeli, Vøringsfossen, Skåla, Slogen, Hoddevik, Vestkapp, Lofoten, Kautokeino and Alta.

    The music is written by Alexander Olsson, Alexandra Rotan, Fred Buljo, Tom Hugo and Rüdiger Schramm while behind the production are  Rüdiger Schramm and Tom Hugo.
