Norway: Sofie Fjellvang wins the fourth semi-final ticket to the MGP 2022 Grand final

The fourth semi final of Melodi Grand Prix 2022 took place in Norway determining one more finalist, with Sofie Fjellvang winning the fourth ticket to the Grand final.
The Norwegian national selection continued this evening with the fourth semi final round live on NRK. No audience attended the event while the show was hosted by Kåre Magnus Bergh accompanied by two new presenters on board, Annika Momrak and Mikkel Niva.
The 4th semi final saw a total of four acts competing in two duels. The winner of each duel moved on to a Gold Duel from which the winner won the ticket to the Grand final show set to take place on February 19.
The duels that we saw on stage tonight were:
First Duel
1. Maria Mohn – “Fly” (WINNER)
VS
2. Alexandra Joner – “Hasta la vista”
Maria Mohn won the first duel and moved on to the Gold Duel round.
Second Duel
1. Kim Wigaard – “La Melodia”
VS
2. Sofie Fjellvang – “Made Of Glass” (WINNER)
Sofie Fjellvang won the second duel and progressed to the godl duel round.
Gold Duel
The winners of the previous two duels took the stage once again and performed their entries aiming to win the public vote that will send them to the Grand final.
Maria Mohn – “Fly” VS Sofie Fjellvang – “Made Of Glass”
Sofie won the battle against Maria as is off to the Grand final of the national selection. The outcome of the night was determined by public voting exclusively. The contestants who did not make it through will have one more try during the Second Chance round on February 12.
In addition, apart form the contestants the stage took this evening the fourth of the five prequalified MGP 2022 finalists. Namely the act that presented their song were:
Subwoolfer - “Give That Wolf a Banana”
The Norwegian national selection will continue on Monday, February 7 with the first part of the second chance round.
