Poland: Alicja Tracz is the third Szansa na Sukces-Eurowizja junior 2020 finalist

  • Alicja Tracz is the third finalist of Szansa na Sukces-Eurowizja junior 2020 after winning the 3rd semi final round of the show. 

    Alicja Tracz is the third act to secure her place in the final of the Polish national selection for Junior Eurovision 2020. Although the young act doesn't have a wide experience in televised competitions like other contestants, she achieved to win the jury's preference and win the 2nd semi final round. 

    In this third episode, the topic was "the world of  Dinsney's fairytale world" , and the candidates were judged by Dawid Kwiatkowski , Kasia Łaska and MaRina while the show was conducted by Artur Orzech . The  acts that competed in today's round were:

    • Szymon Lubicki (The Voice Kids)
    • Alicja Tracz (The Voice Kids)
    • Anna Laskowska
    • Lena Małodzińska (The Voice Kids)
    • Dominika Głąb

    Alicja joins the previous  2 semi final winners, Lena Marzec , Agata Serwin .The three qualifiers will perfrom two songs in the final show, set for September 27. One song will be chosen by the production while the second one will be the entry that the contestant wishes to represent Poland with on home soil. A combination of jury and public voting (50% each) will determine the final winner. In case of a tie the act wion the jury voting will earn the right to represent Poland in JESC 2020. 

     

    A few words about Alicja

    Alicja Tracz was one of the youngest participants in the third edition of "The Voice Kids 3" - she was 9 years old then. In the second episode (blind auditions), she performed "I'll be there" and chose Dawid Kwiatkowski (who was also the juror of the episode "Szansa na Sukces" in which she performed) as her mentor In the battles, she performed "Don't Worry About Me" together with Karina Kowalska and Józia Karnkowska and she was promoted further. In the sing-off, she again presented "I'll be there" and entered the first round of the final with Marcin Maciejczak . 

    Alongside with her ilder sister, Olarecorded the song "Przed nami cały świat" ("The Whole World Before Us"), and performed together at the concert on the occasion of the hundredth anniversary of the birth of John Paul II. They also took part in Domowy Graniu z Eska.pl. Ali's vocal instructor is Agnieszka Wiechnik , and the singer is under the care of the Janów Cultural Center. It was there that she recorded her cover of the Eurovision film "To nie ja"She also performed this song as a representative of Poland during the "Smiles of the Sea" competition in Bulgaria.
