Poland: Eurovision 2021 entry to be unveiled on March 12

The Polsih national broadcaster, TVP, has announced that on March 12 they will be unveiling the country's Eurovision 2021 act and entry.
Poland has been one of the few countries that have not shared so much information about their Eurovision 2021 representative the past months. Of course we must recognize that during September and on in 2020 they were under steam preparing the Junior Eurovision Song Contest that took place on November 26, 2020. Therefore while other countries has luanched their selection processes they were dealing with that major event.
Now TVP has announced that the country's Eurovision 2021 hopeful along with the song to fly to Rotterdam will go public next Friday March 12.

Poland in Eurovision
Poland debuted at the Eurovision Song Contest in 1994 with Edyta Gorniak‘s To nie ja, achieving the best result for the country uo to date. The country which has participated 21 times in the contest and counts mixed results . It has managed a top 10 placing only three times. Due to poor results and financial issues and was absent from the competition for three consecutive years until their return in 2014.
In 2018 Gromee feat Lukas Meijer represented the countey with their song Light me up but unfortunately were left out of the grand final. In 2019 Tulia with “Fire of Love (Pali się)“ represented the country but failed to reach the grand final as they finished 11th in the first semi final .
Last year Alicja Szemplińska was set to represent the nation in Rotterdam with her song Empires, following her win in the national final “Szansa na sukces 2020″ . However the contest was cancelled due to the covid-19 outbreak and Alicja never had the chance to perform her entry on Rotterdam Ahoy's stage.
