Poland: Rafal and Senhit perform live together the ESC 1974 winning song

  • San Marino's Senhit and Polish Eurovision 2021 representative, Rafal, met on the stage of the show Jaka to melodia? and performed together the ESC 1974 winning entry 'Waterloo'.

    With most of the preparty events cancelled due to the ongoing covid-19 pandemic the Eurovision hopeful won't have many chances this year to showcase their entries and get to know each other better in person before they fly to Rotterdam. Nevertheless, two of this year's contestants, the Sammarinese Eurovision 2021 hopeful, Senhit and the Polish representative, Rafal, met on stage during the music show Jaka to melodia?  (What's the Melody?) which is hosted by Rafal.

    During yesterday's recording, Rafał Brzozowski performed his Eurovision 2021 entry "The Ride" , which he will perform in  Rotterdam in the 1st semi-final  on May 18th. The show also featured the representative from San Marino - Senhit Zadik Zadik , who of course performed her own ESC entry  "Adrenalina" .

    Apart from their entries,  Rafał Brzozowski and Senhit also appeared on stage in a duet, performing "Waterloo", Abba's unforgettable hit, which  triumphed at Eurovision in 1974. 

    The Polish representative stated: 

    "I am very glad that Senhit has responded so positively to my invitation to Poland and to the program " Name that tune? ". Eurovision is not only a competition, but above all a space for meetings, which may result in beautiful musical friendships and joint, international projects. This is how I understand the spirit and the idea of ​​this competition."

    Viewers will be able to watch today's performances in the May episodes of the game show.
