Romania: Seven Eurovision 2022 represetatives to appear on Selecţia Naţională 2022 final show

  • Seven Eurovision 2022 hopefuls will be appearing during the Romanian national final 'Selectia Nationala' 2022', the show that will determine Romania's Eurovision act. 

    Seven of the Eurovision 2022 acts selected already will perform live their entries during the national final in Romania on March 5, 2022.  The acts will have an opportunity to showcase themselves and promote to the audience their Eurovision entries. 

    This will be the first time such a number of Eurovision acts from other nations will be performing on a Romanian national final.

    Namely, the seven acts set to appear during the Nationala Selectia final are: 

    • Ronela Hajati (Albania)
    • Intelligent Music Project (Bulgaria)
    • We Are Domi (Czech Republic)
    • Stefan (Estonia)
    • Zdob și Zdub (Moldova)
    • Vladana (Montenegro)
    • Andrea (North Macedonia)

     

    A total of ten contestants will be competing in the Romanian national final for Eurovision 2022, on  March 5, 2022 . These are: 

    Alex Parker & Bastien – “Best of me”
    Andrei Petruş – “Take me”
    Claudia, Minodora, Diana – “România mea”
    Dora Gaitanovici – “Ana”
    Gabriel Basco – “One night”
    Kyrie Mendél – “Hurricane”
    MOISE – “Guilty”
    Petra – “Ireligios”
    VANU – “Never give up”
    WRS – “Llámame”

    A combination of public voting (1/6) and jury voting (5/6) will determine the result of the competition. The jury will consist of the following members: 

    • Alexandra Ungureanu
    • Ozana Barabancea
    • Randi
    • Cristian Faur
    • Adrian Romcescu
