San Marino: First Semi-final qualifiers of 'Una Voce Per San Marino' ; The selection goes on tonight with the second Semi- Final

  • The first four qualifiers of the Sammarinese national selection for Eurovision 2022 have been determined. 

    After several days of castings, 106 acts have been shortlisted to move on to the semifinals stage with the first semi final that took place last evening. The show took place in Teatro Titano in the City of San Marino. 

     

     

     

    The first four qualifiers to the final show have been determined exclusively by the jury. Namely the ones that secured the spot in the final are: 

    • Alfie Arcuri (Australia) – “Collide”
    • Deborah Iurato (Italy) – “Out of Space”
    • Deshedus (Italy) – “Non basterà” (It won’t be enough)
    • E.E.F. (Italy) – “Something For You”

     

    Also a second set of four acts will compete on Friday's seccond chance round: 

    • Camilla (Italy) – “It’s Not You, It’s Me”
    • Camille Cabaltera (Italy) – “Mental”
    • Daudia (Italy) – “What If”
    • Edoardo Brogi (Italy) – “Due punti sull’Equatore” (Two points on the equator)

    On the other hand, 18 contestants have been eliminated from the national selection and will not continue their way in the competition: 

    1. Acousticouple (Italy) – “Hell Rider”
    2. Alabaster (Italy) – “Ambrosia”
    3. Andry (Italy) – “Superboom”
    4. Alessandro Coli (Italy) – “Afterglow”
    5. Angel Dell (Finland) – “Hard to Be an Angel”
    6. ARIA (Italy) – “Una” (One)
    7. Aristea (Italy) – “Dentro una bolla” (Inside a bubble)
    8. Atwood (Italy) – “Dangerous”
    9. Blonde Brothers (Italy) – “Da che parte stai?” (Which side are you on?)
    10. Brandon Parasole (Spain) – “Affare” (Deal)
    11. Christina (Italy) – “Complicated”
    12. CHRISTOPHER (Germany) – “Stars in the Sky”
    13. Ciro De Luca (Romania) – “L’amore universale” (Universal love)
    14. Con Amore (United Kingdom) – “Perfect Sight”
    15. Daniel Schuhmacher (Germany) – “Skin I’m In”
    16. DƏVA (Italy) – “Malaise”
    17. Dionysian (Italy) – “Steps of the Way”
    18. DramaLove (United Kingdom) – “Thunder”

     

     

    The semifinals timeline

    From February 20 to 25, these 106 acts will compete in the semifinals in order to win one of the spots in the final round.

    During the first four semi final heats (February 20-25) 104 international acts in total final will compete against each other. Also, the Sammarinese acts will compete in the fifth semi final on February 24. From all five semi final rounds the top four acts qualify to the final round.

    On February 24 a second chance round will give the opportunity to the 16 semifinalists that finished 4th to 8th place to secure one of the four spots in stage for the final.

    Finally on February 12, 2022 the final will take place at Teatro Titano, City of San Marino.
