San Marino: Fourth Semi- Final qualifiers of 'Una Voce Per San Marino' ; The selection goes on tonight with Second chance round

  • The fourth set of four qualifiers of the Sammarinese national selection for Eurovision 2023 have been determined with the 4th semi-final.

    After several days of castings, 106 acts have been shortlisted to move on to the semifinals stage with the fourth semi final that taking place last evening. The show took place in the Teatro Titano in the City of San Marino. The hostess of the night was Ilenia De Sena.

     

     

    Following the first , second and third semi-final heat, the fourth set of  four qualifiers to the final show have been determined. Namely the ones that secured the spot in the final that are: 

    • Thomas (Italy) – “23:23” 
    • Tothem (Italy) – “Sacro e profano” (“Sacred and Profane”)
    • Vina Rose (United Kingdom) – “Oblivious”
    • XGIOVE (Italy) – “Fuoco e benzina” (“Fire and Gasoline”)

    Also a second set of four acts will compete on today's second chance round: 

    • Pjero (Italy) – “Spiderman”
    • Raim (Italy) – “All Alone” 
    • Ronela (Albania) – “Salvaje” (“Wild”)
    • Roy Paci (Italy) – “Tromba” (“Trumpet”)

     

    On the other hand, 15 more contestants have been eliminated from the national selection and will not continue their way in the competition: 

    1. RAWSTRINGS (Italy) – “Pardonne-moi mon enfant” (“Forgive Me My Child”)
    2. Rouges (Italy) – “All’alba del mio amore” (“At the Dawn of My Love”)
    3. Ruggero Ricci (Italy) – “Firework”
    4. Santo (Italy) – “Torna presto” (“Come Back Soon”)
    5. SARA (Italy) – “Tutto bene” (“Everything’s Good”)
    6. Selina Albright (United States) – “Did I Ever”
    7. Silver (Italy) – “Get You Back”
    8. Sofia Mae (Italy) – “Dentro questa musica” (“Inside This Music”)
    9. Sophia (Italy) – “Skybreaker”
    10. Stefano d’Orazio (Italy) “Si fa così” (“This Is How It’s Done”)
    11. Surama Tsu (Italy) – “Tre tavole” (“Three Boards”)
    12. TES – Tutti Esageratamente Stronzi (Italy) – “Giovani di mezza età” (“Middle-Aged Youths”)
    13. Veronica Howle (Italy) – “Che” (“That”)
    14. Veronica Romero (Spain) – “Army of One”
    15. Vian (Italy) – “Wicca”
    16. Viviana (Italy) – “Prigioniera nera” (“Black Prisoner”)
    17. Viviana Milioti (Germany) – “Seraphina’s Lullaby”
    18. Xada (Italy) – “Come nei film” (“Like In the Movies”)

     

    The semifinals timeline

    From February 20 to 25, these 106 acts will compete in the semifinals in order to win one of the spots in the final round.

    During the first four semi final heats (February 20-25) 104 international acts in total final will compete against each other. Also, the Sammarinese acts will compete in the fifth semi final on February 24. From all five semi final rounds the top four acts qualify to the final round.

    On February 24 a second chance round will give the opportunity to the 16 semifinalists that finished 4th to 8th place to secure one of the four spots in stage for the final.

    Finally on February 12, 2022 the final will take place at Teatro Titano, City of San Marino.
